Sunrise Tacos Big C Ekamai — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Nuea Subdistrict

okay, i’m going to be 100% honest, as a hispanic temporarily living in bangkok i was extremely skeptical when i ordered sunrise tacos through Grab Eats at 3AM. my experience with mexican food in thailand has been nothing short of disappointing, most things lacking flavour, portions being tiny and/or somehow still tasting like thai food and holy basil... but oh my goodness, this was amazing and went above and beyond my expectations, especially for a delivery.

i ordered a veggie burrito, chimichanga style with a size of chips and salsa and it was phenomenal! the burrito was HUGE, smothered in salsa roja and shredded cheese. it was stuffed with refried beans, rice, jalapeños, and assorted vegetables. delectable, i say! the flavours were well balanced, it had just the right amount of spiciness and the chips were crisp and fresh, and not oversalted. 10/10 for this establishment, i wish i had tried it sooner because up until now i’ve been painstakingly making my own tacos, and hunting down my ingredients in asia. can’t speak for in house dining service, but i received my order quickly through delivery and everything was...

This place is very chillaxing been here many times and the food quality is great just like real Mexican food also wanna shout out to "Richard" the server very hospitable and assists well with info on food variety look him up when u come dine cool and friendly dude also “Bua“, “Sunday“, and “Sundi“ all deserve a round of applause for such a great hospitality as well 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I just came here recently and realized the beef wasn’t the same. I always have Carne Asada burrito but was disappointed with the beef not being the same as it used to. With this cause it’s going to be difficult for me to come back again if the beef is not the usual I had all the time. Sorry but this will make you loose customers ‘coz consistency is very important in order for someone to be brand loyal. Thank you for your kind attention and consideration of this matter. Peace.

Not a burrito expert

Ordered a classic chicken sunrise burrito for takeaway, the waiter said it would take about 25mins the place was a bit busy in the evening. My first impression was that the size and weight of the burrito was adequate to the price on the menu (295b) however when I had to pay I saw the receipt saying (315b) with Vat and service charge included, now I have no problem with paying that but I do think this should be already included in the menu price as it’s really misleading. If it costs me this much then I want to pay that much I’m in no mood to be doing extra maths while I’m waiting for my food, also taste of burrito was alright I didn’t really have any expectations as this was maybe my 1st or 2nd burrito in my life. One thing I can say is that it’s really filling and the size of it will do the job but like I’ve said...
