For those who love Japanese-style beef and want to feel like they're dining in Japan, we highly recommend this hidden gem. Tucked away in a house in the Ekkamai area, this restaurant offers both a Teppanyaki counter for an interactive experience and private tables if you prefer a more intimate setting. It's a quiet spot with excellent service and is never overly crowded.

Their beef selection ranges from standard cuts to premium Kobe beef, available with varying fat levels (marbled and leaner options). The chef expertly grills the meat to perfection, ensuring it's never overcooked. It's best enjoyed with a sprinkle of salt, a refreshing yuzu-infused sauce, or the restaurant's specialty sauce.

One of my favourite dining experiences. Found this place on Google, was looking for Wagyu and amazed to find authentic kobe instead.

Slightly overwhelmed by the variety on the menu, we were immediately advised by the chef to order 1 x lower quality and 1 x higher quality kobe steak so that we could compare each (rather than 2 x high quality cuts). Both were absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly by the head chef and owner. Its an expensive meal for Bangkok, but considerably less than what it would cost in the UK.

The mussels were sold out so the chef prepared scallops, prawns and clams in a white wine sauce instead, which may have been the star of the show. It was so fragrant and fresh and delicious.

The ambience is nice - quiet and cosy.

Considering the unique quality of the menu, this a truly special restaurant and one that I'd recommend to anyone...

I got the details of this place from a fellow Thai guide. Meant to celebrate a birthday, I made a reservation for 12 a few weeks before and the response was swift and efficient. Upon arrival, I was greeted by an obscure facade which resembled a residential detached house with an ample driveway. Service staff stood at the doorway awaiting your arrival and shortly after, the owner came to greet us with fervour. The recommendations given were fantastic. The seafood items like scallops, shrimp and bluefin tuna were all well done. The fried rice was delightfully done. Then came the chateaubriand and sirloin cuts which blew us away.
