Good Taste Street Food — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Subdistrict

Very authentic Thai food, tastes great, clean, and great price!

As a local who lives just nearby, this is the place that I come at least once a week and often order a takeaway.

My favorite dish is หมูกรอบคั่วพริกเกลือ (fried crispy pork chili salt) - this is one of the best that I have tried so far from anywhere because they use Thai garlic instead of Chinese garlic unlike many restaurants, which tastes a lot better.

The best part is that they cook it dish by dish, fresh, clean, and with powerful stove (high fire power) which gives each dish a great fried/grill taste. You can literally see them cook your dish.

Staffs are friendly and the drinks here (beer, etc.) are also very cheap.

Dined there many times. Good food and service with many choices. Convenient location too. Walking distance to the BTS (train). Not open on the weekends unfortunately. Give it a go. Many Japanese in this area. Their expectations of service significantly differ however this is Thailand so relative to price this place is good. You cannot superimpose your culture on another's. A lesson hard to accept for us all.

This is the reason why I love eating local street foods. You come to a good food place, you order a dish, and it tastes damn good!! Eating experience should be atleast like that. Make you question yourself why did you ordered a food that is not as good as this but costed 3-5x more.
