I’ve been to this cafe several times when visiting Hua Hin from Bangkok, and I’ve always loved the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, my recent visit on 24 November (Sunday morning around 9:45 AM) was extremely disappointing because of the poor service. The female staff member working that morning was unprofessional and unfriendly, which completely ruined the experience. When our coffee was served, it had spilled a bit (probably on the way to us), leaving the glass dirty. Napkins weren’t provided, so I asked for some, but it took exactly 15 minutes to get them. Who can wait 15 minutes for tissue napkins? We even tried calling the cafe’s mobile number to follow up, but no one picked up. On top of that, a friend who arrived separately later was initially denied entry and was forced to order something before entering, this might have been due to a miss understanding. However what happened next really shocked us. When her order of Waffles and Juice arrived, the staff dragged over a dirty table without cleaning it or even offering to clean it. Later, she accidentally bumped into the table, moving it noticeably, but didn’t even look back to acknowledge or apologise, and simply dashed away, this is the last straw that triggered this review, I’ve never even posted a negative review for any establishments before. I’ve also never had this rude and unwelcoming experience here until this incident. The whole time we can tell the staff doesn’t want to interact with us, please know that customers can see through a fake smile and a bad attitude right away.

For a place that operates under InterContinental Resorts, this was incredibly disappointing. I hope the management takes steps to properly train their staff because this level of service...

We went here actually three times during our holiday: One time for breakfast, one time for coffee and one time for their new year‘s dinner. We enjoyed every visit because (1) they have a great variety of drinks which all taste good + healthy western-type breakfast menu, (2) the place itself is just pleasant due to the amazing atmosphere. They have relaxing background music, a wonderful garden, pretty ocean view, everything is neat/clean including the restroom, (3) the staff is incredibly sweet, friendly and attentive. What I found remarkable though: The manager approached us to check if we have received the bill for the new year‘s menu, as we needed to pay that in advance. The other time, the waiter came to us because she thought we have payed too much (we actually just gave a quiet generous tip because we were satisfied with our visit). This is indeed an exceptional and great customer service! (4) We also loved the menu on new year‘s eve, especially the courses with fish soup, lobster and the wagyu beef. (5) Info for dog owners: They offer self-made dog food.

The prices are indeed not cheap in comparison to other restaurants in Hua Hin. However, if you value the overall experience, I think you wont be disappointed if you go there for a...

Still a great place to come and sit in a quiet atmosphere, with views over the sea and gardens. Often times it’s very quiet with only one or two customers. July 2024. This is owned by the Intercontinental residence next door and is a cafe, restaurant and bar. The indoor seating is all in white colonial wood style which feels cool and relaxing but it is not enclosed so no AC. Even from inside you have views of the sea at the bottom of the long garden. There is also seating in the garden and at the end a sort of sandy area which overlooks the beach and the sea. There are great views from here of the sea and beach activities. All in an all a generally nice relaxing environment to chill out in a colonial setting, even the fans match this style. Staff are great and helpful but they do seem a bit stressed at times and you may need to wait a bit when it’s busy. A reasonable selection of cakes and coffee was good. They gave a big choice of dishes Thai and western. I didn’t try the food so can’t really comment on that. As an international hotel chain the prices are set to match as you would expect, but you are paying for the ambience and the sea views I guess. There is very limited parking, about 4 or...
