Hip BBQ Food Truck What a breath of fresh air here in Hua Hin! Very tasty burger, and pulled pork on a bun. PP delish, deep roasted flavor. They make their barbq sauce, more intense than in the U.S., -maybe that Thai sense for spice balance- still smokey spicy sweet as bbq sauce should be. Tasty crispy curly fries, in fresh oil, no re-used stuff here, perfectly crunchy. Fun little truck with special touches, Chef Prasita‘s very own logo on the toothpicks, good food with bbq selections including burgers, pulled pork and ribs (which looked great, will try next time), some Asian hits like chinese Chicken Rice, as well a few western and Thai standards and original coffee and tea drinks. Fast, nicely presented, good prices but not so cheap that you skeptical of the quality. Fun deco in a tiny space with 3 table. A little gem here. We were the only ones there, a blessing for us but hopefully their business will pick up soon as Thailand opens up further. One thing-the pulled pork had been freshly made, but I think deep-fried to reheat, a common practice in Thailand. It makes the meat a bit hard and crispy-would have preferred...

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I can honestly say I've never had one quite like this before. I mean that in a good way. It was served on a soft Portuguese roll which really complimented the meat. The pork itself was very generously applied with a saucy bbq recipe consisting of spices I couldn't really recognize but made for a delicious recipe. The sandwich also had caramelized onions, bacon and cheese. It was really amazing and worth the 250 cost. The atmosphere of cicada market I can only describe as classy as far as markets go. There were plenty of nicely presented tables to dine in as well as a jazz duet for entertainment. It was a good place to visit and I will return to try one of the many other stalls. Maybe...
Read moreIn my opinion the best ribs and mash potatoe in Hua Hin.
Only open on Tamarind market nights, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4pm to 11pm.
The guys here take pride in the ribs. Always cooked well. Always tasty.
The mash is proper mashed potatoes, occasionally you even get small lumps of potatoe, which I consider a treat.
I eat here regularly. Have not found any others as good throughout hua hin or Thailand.
Nice to sit and eat the food in the chill environment of tamarind Market listening to some music and drinking one of many...
