My partner and i wanted to stay in the less busy part of the island and ultimately decided for Rawai in the south. It was a great decision, lovely smallish fisherman village with lush beaches near by. After a bit of searching we bumped in the newly opened Maison Ya Nui and booked there for 4 nights. ||From the moment we arrived, we loved the place, Herve and Ya, the managers welcomed us with open arms, showed us to our perfectly appointed room by the pool and we stelled in in no time. ||The room was spacious, spotless and had all the amenities we needed including a small but very practical kitchen with microwave and a fridge stocked with soft drinks and the beloved Chang beer. ||The resort has only 9 rooms which makes it relaxing and the lush tropical garden is very soothing and beautiful. There is no common dining area (as there is no restaurant) but each room has a table where you can have a relaxing breakfast of your choice. For us, it was cereals, some mango and freshly baked croissants that Ya kindly brought to us every morning. ||Very practically, the resort has it’s own scooter rental facility, so transportation was sorted in no time which was totally great! The resort is a few minutes away from lots of lovely restaurants by the water, so we had delicious dinner in a different place every night and of course a daily massage in the numerous parlours in Rawai. ||A few minutes drive from the resort, you can find the lovely small beach of Ya Nui that is perfect for the morning swim! ||Herve, who lived in Rawai for the last 15 years knows the island inside out and was prompt to give us lots of valuable tips immediately. It was great to have an insider on our side. Furthermore, Herve was keen to show us around his beloved island so he organised a few wonderful trips, including a speed boat tour for the day to the less busy but amazing islands. Nothing was a problem for him, always there to help us. ||Overall, La Maison Ya Nui delivered on every aspect and we had the most enjoyable time and our host Herve and Ya are truly amazing! ||I must go place on Phuket for those who want personalised service, a very relaxing place to stay in the perfect location! We will...
Read moreEven though I arrived tired and exhausted at La Maison Yanui in the middle of the night, I felt at home from the first second. Herve and Ya own a little paradise that makes every visitor feel welcome right away. The apartments are really spacious and combine Thai Charme with European functionality. All windows covered with mosquito-nets, big bathroom and a huge refrigerator.||The location of the apartments is ideal. It is very quite, however within short distances there is Rawai Beach and Yanui Beach and after 10 minutes you reach the most beautiful beach of Phuket: Nai Harn. There are scooters available for rent at the reception. They are in good shape and they aren't more expensive than outside of the property. ||I started every morning with swimming some laps in the pool. Afterwards I enjoyed the breakfast: fresh fruits, coffee and croissants. ... it was a wonderful vacation and every evening I enjoyed coming back to this...
Read moreExcellent location, competitively priced, tasteful decor, pool, manicured gardens.||The service and hospitality were excellent. Very quiet and discreet, yet only a minute from the beach center. This is the side of town that you want to be on. Bear in mind that I have been here on over twenty holidays. I know this area.||Bikes in good condition are available for rent at good prices. Although I used a different taxi service to get there, at the same price from Phucket airport, the owners will have you picked up. Do it this way as the hustlers at the airport will overcharge.||Prices vary per unit depending on the season. Rooms are large and bathrooms, decor and service are excellent. King sized beds for couples and children are welcome. This is the first time in so many reviews that I am ticking...
