Luuma Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Rawai

Since we can only have 1 active review at a time, I update today (6th July '24) my previous review: Napolitan: still our favourite, and Terance just said that now he adds cherry tomatoes on top 😉😋 we did taste the seafood pizza last time (weeks ago!!). And I did try to review, but little did I know about Google rules ☹️ ... so, injustice made up for tonight. Seafood is now ALSO a favourite 😋😋 a lot of it, overall juicy, usual tasty dough... well worth the little extra (most expensive pizza on the menu)!!

And tonight is no exception, we're getting a round of our 2 top favourites!! Might try the 'garlic prawn' next time? He doesn't eat porc or pumpkin, so that does cut a bit off the menu doesn't it!? 🤣

Apologies first! 1/ for the terrible food pictures, but unless you're a pro with all the gismo... 2/ for not sharing the love earlier! This has become our local fav for a few months now, but always forget to spread the word.

So, here we go. Used to be a regular with another local (italian) restaurant but got fed up with their chewy pizzas. Then Luuma appeared 🥳🥳and we switched alliance! Now, there is no way back.

Here you get: fluffy, light and tasty dough. Good varied toppings that you could always personalise (we are still working our way through the existing menu!).

Our fav: the basic Neapolitan, kinda Margarita. Veggie is good. Next: seafood.

There is a nice bar conducive to conversations with about anyone, indoor tables (A/C and soft music) and a lovely terrace (smokers?).

You're also welcome, like us, to reuse your pizza boxes and bags.... wink wink. Everyone wins right?

Great place to hangout with friends and have a drink and eat amazing pizza. They have a karaoke mic so don't forget to ask for that if you're into that. Also have a nice free pool table. Setting outside and even a little private side area inside. They also have top shelf liquor. A little pricey if you want to drink that but it was worth it. Drinks are very good! Last night, I went to Luuma Pizza for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised! The ambience was welcoming and beautifully decorated. Small details went into making it a perfect paradise restaurant. Now the pizza, wow. Best pizza I have found in all of Thailand! Everything had a perfect ratio of crust, sauce and veggies.
