Villa 3E1 in the same property. Allegedly ran by different companies.
Our stay was far from the VIP experience that was advertised. From the start, we faced a series of inconveniences that negatively impacted our trip. We waited over 20 minutes at the airport, followed by another 20-minute delay just to gain access to the villa. Despite clear and timely communication prior to our arrival, the property was completely unprepared. We arrived to a dark, hot, and empty house with no basic essentials in place. Instead, we were handed a box of amenities, yet neither the bathrooms nor the kitchen were stocked with proper hand wash liquids or other essentials. Everything felt carelessly thrown together, lacking even the most basic consideration for guest comfort.
To make matters worse, the driver attempted to leave us without letting us in. A representative showed up 10 minutes later, completely unaware of where the keys were, and spent another 10 minutes fumbling around and calling others for help. Once inside, instead of settling in, we had to wait another 10â15 minutes as he opened rooms and asked us to sign paperwork and provide copies of our passports.
The situation only got worse with early morning construction noise starting before 7 AM, along with unannounced visits from pool staff. While the villa itself is visually appealing, it does not live up to the standards or expectations set by its price or description. This is not a space for a peaceful, relaxing vacationâitâs simply an expensive place to sleep, with little to no comfort during the day. We were unable to truly enjoy the property, spend time with loved ones, or find any sense of tranquility throughout our stay. Villa 3E1
Edit:This is a shared property. You may not find the same accommodation upon arrival to your villa. But the location and overall noise level will...
Read moreRooms: great! Delivered what was requested. 3 rooms with own pool. Also has external play pool but I must say it is disappointing that there are no other visitors who visit the outside pool. Rarely, kids from other villas may join the pool but no seen commonly. Insects / mozzies are a problem. Although we have been applying mosquito repellant daily and housekeeping staff have been applying mosquito repellant in the rooms but the problems persist. This is an understandable issue as most of the outdoor areas in Phuket have this problem. Breakfast buffet: similar to the outside play pool, there are no other visitors who frequent the breakfast buffet. because of this, buffet are usually served in the you-order-from-menu, i-will-cook-for-you manner. Until the last few days, staff started to offer help yourself buffet but the menu ordering service was still available. Kudos to their service. I think mostly i reward 5 stars for their impeccable service. On the second last day, one of my elderly family member fell at the villa personal pool (due to lack of grab bars), resulting in a large gash which requires stitching. Staff were prompt in clearing up the mess at the pool and were receptive to feedback. They also offered free service to and fro the hospital for treatment, even offering to foot the hospital bill. The next day, they visited our villa to check in on our elderly family member. There is no such hotel / villa that I have went to that provided such services. Also, my daughter was not used to phuket food, she fell ill during the trip which caused her to vomit in the early morning like 1am. Housekeeping staff again were prompt in coming to clear up the mess and ensure that the bedsheets were clean. Once again, thank you to Rawayana west villa staff for their...
Read moreWe had a lovely recent stay. The villas are well equipped with a good sized private pool. The outdoor area at our villa (3 bed superior) had 2 sun loungers - more would have been great however i appreciate space is limited. Access to the Rawai kids club was handy - our 7 and 9 year old liked the trampoline area however the pool and other areas are best suited to younger kids. The in house restaurant is great; very reasonably priced with a varied menu. The bikes that are supplied are great for getting around the local area. The supermarket Tops is a short walk/ride away however is on the more expensive side but is well stocked.
The local area is very pleasant. You don't get hassled like in other busier areas which was nice. It was a bit of a drive to any of the attractions (most 20-40 mins away) however it was nice to get back to Rawai after visiting those areas.
The only downside i would say is that here is a list on the wall with expensive replacement prices for anything that is broken or missing (ranging from cups, to knives, to towels). We were accused of 2 missing glasses after check out which i disputed but was still charged 150 baht each glass which was very harsh and did leave a bad taste in my mouth. They also take a significant bond on your credit card which isn't returned until a month after check out which is a little frustrating.
Overall though a good stay and...
