The Black Bull Rawai — Restaurant in Rawai

In general it’s an okay-ish roadside bar. But please, do not bother ordering the food here. Burgers are priced on high level but on a plate you get a under-macdonalds experience. Consist of chewy, bagel style bun. And “L” size of a burger is a patty of about 100 gramm, overcooked (not surprising with that size), 1 slice of bacon and a processed cheese. With price of 9$… just wierd. Hygiene level is non existent. Waiter literally took napkins with knifes from our table and put them back to “clean” pile. I guess it saves few seconds on folding… Overall - not worth even...

Really good surprised tonigh. Live in phuket for 2 years and first time that i heard about The Black Bull.I was looking for a decent raclette in Phuket that i found this restaurant. The raclette was really really good. Quality of the cheese is great, charcuteries as well. Even the salade was super tasty. Service was perfect. And the owner offered me a beer at the end of the meal. What can we ask more ? The owner is kind, food is good, the pool tables are nice, and the service is great.

It can get a little stuffy, so make sure you sit next to a nice fan.

Update: Another great time here playing pool. Beer was cold. The owner greeted me by name. The Khao Tom Gai was delicious.
