I was intrigued to see so many restaurants in Rawai with 4.5-star and higher reviews compared to a year ago, so I decided to try this highly rated 4.9-star Italian restaurant to see if the reviews lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite meet expectations.

We ordered pizza and pasta carbonara—two classic dishes that are hard to go wrong with at a good Italian restaurant.

The pizza was just alright, with a very thick crust and good-quality ham, but nothing exceptional. However, the carbonara was disappointing. Despite the staff asking about my texture preference (I requested al dente), the pasta arrived far too soft. Additionally, some of the bacon was burnt, giving the entire dish a bitter taste. And we end up only had few bite of the pasta and pretty much left it untouched. The staff didn’t even ask if the food was okay.
