An expat friend who lives close by here, recommended me, "Noodle Soup Rawai" and alerted me it's "Halal" which wasn't a problem at all. Just a 5 min walk from where I was accommodated on a slightly overcast day, was all I wanted to fill up my hungry tummy at 12pm.
I stumbled on to this humble airy shop-lot @ the corner of the road which had me sneezing 🤧 the moment i stepped in since the Female Thai Chef & Chef Arun were cooking their pungent chilli 🌶️ which lingered into my nose!👃🏻😅 Smells Good.👍🏻 The menu was quite extensive and prices reasonable. Everything looks delish.😋 The friendly staff took my order and within seconds the crowd kept pouring in non-stop as it started to rain heavily.
My meals came very fast; Thai Green Curry Chicken 🍲 was amazingly authentic and flavourful, the thick curry very coconuty 🥥👍🏻 served wt piping hot steamed white rice 🍚 TB120. Yumm! 😋 Even the Stir Fried mixed veggie 🥦🌽🫑🍄 were very Fresh, Crunchy and Colourful, TB100! I couldn't resist the Thai iced tea🥤 TB60, wt less sugar and ice on a cooling day, 28°C.🌦️ Overall, a Must try in this cafe IF you're in Rawai, Mueang area. Clean atmosphere and toilet 🚽🧻 served wt friendly, interactive Chefs that peeked out to see the...

This is the best. Anywhere, anytime. Importantly, the beef is big chunks like a proper stew, and fork tender. And unlike most Massaman you get, it's not sweet. Deeply savory and medium spicy.
Perfect. This is easily a once a week for me, if not more. Price is right, about 180 baht with rice (water is free).
Can't believe that in nearly 2 years living in Rawai, I hadn't heard of this place, though I've driven by a...
Read moreOh we tried over a week to finally try this place (few times it was closed on random day, other day we arrived 15 min before closing, then there wasn't any free tables, etc) and maybe our expectations were too high by that time but Pad Thai wasn't that good as for example across the street. Here the portion was smaller and tamarind gave too sour dominating taste. Also there wasn't spring rolls 😱
Overall although the place seems very popular, service is very good and high level customer service) but with these cheap prices you can get for example better Pad Thai elsewhere 🙃 Or we just ordered...
