Super Som Restaurant/Hotel — Restaurant in Rawai

First thing you need to know, this isn't a hotel, it's a café on a noisy road that happens to rent out its tiny rooms. So during check-in, you'll be waiting in the middle of the café with all the other customers while the lady greeting you takes orders, tries to remember who you are, why you're there, and calls her boss for clarification. Then they'll lead you through the restaurant to a staircase to the next floor, where you'll see your "deluxe" room. It's a tiny closet without windows, which isn't exactly obvious from the photos. So be very attentive when choosing this place. For exactly the same price, I found wonderful apartments just 200 meters away that were three times bigger and had an actual reception desk! Since I was completely disappointed with the place but had already paid for 3 days, I asked the owner for a partial refund, which has generally always worked for me elsewhere, but here I received a rather rude answer - "why would I?" But I was so disappointed with the place that even this didn't stop me. As the cherry on top, when I told the owner I was going to leave a negative review, I heard threats about the possible troubles he could cause me! In conclusion, I don't recommend this to anyone, ever....

We had a wonderful stay at Super Som recently. The whole place is spotless and the owners Andy & Som are very welcoming. Our room was spacious with a small balcony, it had great air con, a huge TV with Netflix and the most comfortable bed. The hotel has the restaurant downstairs serving good food, which is really handy, but it also situated right in the busy part of town with lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance. An excellent hotel and restaurant where you can comfortably stay and eat delicious English breakfasts and Thai traditional food. Nice owner Andy, friendly Som, and helpful staff. Nice to meet you🤗 I liked the convenient location for getting around Rawai and the surrounding area both on foot and by bike. You can rent a bike directly at this hotel, which is very convenient! Thank you for the accommodation, pleasant communication and delicious food👌
