Absolute disaster - had a terrible food poisoning right after dining here. My friend and myself went there two days ago. Waited for half an hour or so and then ordered some dishes. After 40 mins we still had 3 dishes to serve while 3 or 4 tables came and ordered after us had got all their dishes served including the morning glory which we ordered as well. We had checked with the waiters for multiple times and then were told that they sold out the morning glory without any apologies. Apparently they expected us to just bear the situation and their chaotic messy food serving process. After finishing the food, we went back to hotel. In the taxi we had already felt that our stomach was a bit funny. While as soon as I got back to the room I had to rush to the bathroom to vomit. My friend did the same an hour after me. We then realized that we were good poisoned due to their unclean and non-fresh seafood. I recalled that I ate a few non-fresh sea snails and blood cockles but I spit them out as soon as I tasted them. Not sure if they were the reason or other stuff in the food. We had to go to bathroom for a few times and were so exhausted in the next few days after the food poison. We are seafood lovers and have been eating seafood (sashimi or cooked) in many countries and this is the first time we experienced food poison. Definitely not...
Read more(refer to the menu in the picture for the prices) After being to Bangkok so many times trying at the popular seafood restaurants, including somboon, I have finally found the one that beats all of them! Not on in terms of taste but also pricing. Like many other reviews before me, the deep fried fish is a must order (even though we usually order the lime steam fish). The fish is so fresh and the sauce has this distinct salty taste that is different from other sauces in a good way. The bbq giant prawns (690 baht for 2 big prawns) are so nice and succulent and for those who loves prawn head, WOW... You won't resist it. The price may sound expensive for Thailand standards but it's really big and back in my country, the price is probably double for the size. The Tom yam was good but it's the above average type of good. I really like the claypot glass noodles with prawn. The prawns are different from the bbq one above though and I prefer the earlier one. The location isnt the best for tourists but it's just a short GRAB away from SIAM or Pratunam area. Restaurant wise is pretty standard with Aircon but totally unlike those popular seafood restaurants but then u save on the cost. Will I be here again? Definitely and probably ever single Time I am back on...

🐟 deep fried sea bass with fish sauce The fish was filleted and cooked perfectly with a testy semi-sweet semi-salty sauce on top. Great with steam white rice or fried rice. Try it with their green seafood sauce as well
🦞 grilled river prawn Costly but tasty. Thai people love this dish as the grilled prawn provides the sweetness itself and the head part (yellowish creamy look) tasted creamy-buttery. Dip the prawn in the seafood sauce and eat the fat from head with white rice
🍜 steamed grass noodle with shrimp 70 THB (2 USD) This is their signature dish! Steam grass noodle cooked with bacons then toped with shrimp! Tasty and must try!
🦀 curry crab You will have the option to choose between whole crab (like we did) or crab meat Whole crab = Fresh! And Tasty!! but hard to consume as the shell are quite hard and shape Crab meat = easy to consume but not as tasty as whole crab version
