Only two stars as the food was good but the waiters were not. The design of the place is very mediterranean and well laid out. They had run out of premixed alcoholic drinks early in the evening so had very poor stock control. They only had 3 gelato flavours of the nine listed on the menu. A nice Italian restaurant in Phuket, near the Nai Yang Beach. The restaurant is a 10 minute drive from the airport. Great food, specially the brickoven woodfire pizza, and they also have vegetarian options. The atmosphere is casual, and there's plenty of sitting space. They also have a drinks bar. The Pizza and Bruschieta were both very delicious. The service itself was extraordinary good! The reason for 4 stars is the (European) boss who seems to intimidate their employees by punishing them for peanuts (nothing) in front of customers. He seems to push them for asking customers for more drinks in order to increase the turnover. I found that intrusive. The boss should not let the employees bleed for his own...
