The Garrison — Restaurant in Sam Sen Nai Subdistrict

Can't give a full review as twice failed to make it inside, my mistake for turning up to late. A place that gets full fast so make a reservation. They operate a numbers quota, so will decline entry if over full inside ( Safety ) Good common sense....

It is a small place, with live music as its attraction, and themed as " Thai take on an Irish bar".... Your find people outside on the street with a table or two, just taking in the atmosphere, Its midway between BTS stations Ari and Saphan Khwai (N5 and N7) station N6 has not yet been built.... Parking available in several local soi's however if you ask nicely at the Vimut Hospital they may find you a parking space ( for a small fee ).

This is an area with plenty of place 's to eat and drink so if you can't get in at The Garrison, all is not lost... another bar very close also has live music and TV...

There are several bars in the Saphan Khwai area, and this one had a few live bands playing and a buy-one-get-one drink promotion, which made it quite decent for the price. The drinks were okay, not bad at all. However, the place was very loud — the ceiling is low, and the volume was turned up so high that it felt overwhelming. If you’re meeting friends, be prepared to shout to have a conversation. I ended up with a sore throat the next day just from trying to talk.

I didn’t order any food, just had drinks. Overall, this place might be better suited for someone who wants to come alone or with one other person to focus on the music. If you’re planning to hang out with a group, it’s probably not ideal since it’s really hard to have a proper conversation. Also, the restroom is on the second floor and a bit...

My dilema, if i tell you how good it was then you might go there and spoil the ambience! Great food (lamb cutlets with rosemary and mustard ... wow), beer perfect and a nice range of options, live band ( double wow... where did they find this guy?), attentive and responsive hosts. Just like a pub should be , just like it was when i was younger. No loud foreigners, just a great place to have a pint and feel .... like you belong. They are working hard for you to have a great night out. Just dont go there and...
