When I arrived at BonChon it looked like there was no one there to take my order. After looking at the board for a while the lady that was playing her phone noticed me and jumped up to take my order. As I asked if I could change the French fries in the set to bonchon fries with a surcharge, the lady acted like I asked something shocking. So I ordered the set and the bonchon fries. When I could see the board clearly after sitting down I noticed I could have ordered 6 boneless for the same price I went back to her to make a change. She first wasn’t sure and asked if could. Then she said “No cannot” because I already placed the order. I found it strange as they probably didn’t made anything yet but I just left it with that, returned to my seat and waited another 15min before the food was ready for pickup. While waiting for my food and while eating I could hear the girl gossip to het colleagues about why I order and then dare to ask to change. BonChon should train their staff in good customer service in this branch to teach them what good service is and what not to do.
Next to this negative point I want to point out that the quality of the food you get is mediocre and for sure not the same level as other brands in BKK. I ate multiple times BonChon in the city and I can’t say anything but good things! As for the Don Mueang airport branch, the first time I ate there the chicken was super dry like it had been cooked before and reheated. This time the chicken was good but the BonChon fries was almost all pepper and almost no herbs and grated cheese on top that make...
Read moreIt came to pass that I arrived in Don Mueang airport at the hour after midnight, weary and jet-lagged. As I wandered the halls between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, I smelled a vision. Bonchon, shining like the burning bush on Mount Sinai. Though the hour was early, I did not question it, for the spirit moved me. I partook of the wings, crisp and anointed in savory glory. I knew then that I had been delivered. Whether in the light of day or the shadow of night, Bonchon reigns eternal. And thus was my soul fried...
Read moreeverything is salty.. i wanted to try this because i was craving korean food after some time here, but i wouldn’t recommend this spot. i’m from maryland and have tried multiple bonchons, and this one is just off. the soy garlic should have a sweet and savory taste but no part of it was sweet- just salt. pretty overpriced for thailand, even though it’s an airport. 240 baht for 6 small wings and water. the radish also was drenched in vinegar and not sweet at all- can’t eat it...
