I am writing this with a broken heart.
I was in this restaurant for quite a few times when I travel back to Macau. And I like the food, staff and did bring some of my friends. I visit Thailand a lot though! Today, the 4th of April at 4am, I went in to this restaurant as I like the Thai food and I can taste the last bites of the Thai food in Thailand.
It looked like they were closed so I asked the staff, are you closed? One lady said, nope come in. I went in.
A VERY RUDE LADY CAME IN AND SHOUTED AT ME LIKE WHAT DO YOU WANT? Without looking at the menu I said, KHAO SOI PLEASE? I also asked her, CAN I ALSO GET A DRINK? SHE SAID NO, in a rude voice and attitude. I was like ok, maybe they are closing and she wants to go home.
Later another lady served my order and I asked her, CAN I GET A DRINK and she said, YES!
Then the other lady came in and was telling her not to give me a drink.
I was like. What is happening.
I have visited Thailand so many times and this restaurant a lot of times.
This is the first time, a staff from here or maybe someone from Thailand is rude to people for no reason. Well, I wish her the best and advice the owner or the manager of the restaurant or the company to choose the right person for the job. If you need more info, please check the CCTV footage and you will know what she...
Read moreWe had a very very bad experience in S&P yesterday at Don Muang airport T1 before we boarded our plane. The waitress took our orders quickly - NZ beef green curry, Chicken Khao soi, mulberry drink & mango sticky rice. The NZ beef green curry & mulberry drink came after a while but the Chicken Khao soi & mango sticky rice didn't arrive in spite of our reminding the waitresses several times. We could see their annoyance and shouting away, very rude attitude. We also noticed the other customers who came later than us were served readily. As our time was nearing departure, we decided to give up and pay for what arrived only. Waitresses insisted we had to take away the mango sticky rice which they were only just preparing. I said NO! and they still rang up the bill for it! I said I am not paying for what I didn't eat but the mango stick rice was shuffed into my face. Waitress raised her voice very loudly that she didn't charge me for the Chicken Khao soi so that's that! PAY UP! Wah! this is the worst experience we have leaving Thailand! The management should really teach them some manners and service etiquette. If they didn't have Chicken Khao Soi, we would be understanding but keeping customers waiting with no explanations and getting annoyed with our reminders.... it's...
Read moreS & P Thai Restaurant & Bakery holds a special place in my heart, particularly for its impeccable hygiene and the exquisite taste of its food. Having visited their locations at Don Mueang International Airport and Central Festival Pattaya, I can confidently say that this chain excels in offering delightful culinary experiences. Whenever I travel through DMK airport, stopping by S & P has become a ritual because the flavors they serve are simply irresistible.
However, I must mention an area that could use significant improvement: the service. Despite visiting multiple times, I've consistently encountered indifferent staff who don't seem concerned about customer satisfaction. In a country known as the "Land of Smiles," the lack of warmth and friendliness from the staff here is surprising. One of the traits I admire most about Thai culture is the resilient spirit and ever-present smile, even in challenging times. Yet, the staff at this restaurant stand in stark contrast.
Despite these service shortcomings, the quality and taste of the food are so outstanding that I continue to patronize this establishment. If they could enhance their customer service to match the excellence of their cuisine, it would make for an unparalleled...
