We visited the cat cafe with our 8-year-old son, who made a new friend on the way, so we invited the child and his mother to join us. We ordered food and drinks and went upstairs to see the cats. When our order arrived, we moved to the dining area. The kids finished their meals quickly and went back to see the cats, while the adults stayed behind to finish our drinks. Admittedly, some rules were bent—like staying with children at all times and no jumping—but no harm was done to the cats.
However, a staff member, possibly the manager or owner, approached us to remind us of every single rule in a very patronizing manner. It was clear we were no longer welcome, so we decided to leave.
As we were exiting, the manager angrily accused my son, instead of addressing me or my wife, of breaking the automatic door. The door is unusual, requiring you to press a button to open it, but it closes automatically. My son, trying to follow the rules to keep the cats inside, manually closed the door, which caused it to malfunction.
Additionally, the food and drinks took around 30 minutes to arrive (we only ordered five drinks and two portions of chicken nuggets and fries).
It's disappointing. While Thailand and Bangkok has been wonderful, this place left a bitter taste. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have children, they won’t...
Read moreHighly recommend, a very nice place to play with rescue cats 🐱 We made a last minute reservation for 12pm on a weekday, when the cafe opened. It was not very busy at the time and there were plenty of cats awake who you could play with. I highly recommend to buy the creamy cat food, as you will be very popular! Food and coffee was very nice and a reasonable price. The system works well, you either pay for entry/time, or pay for food and drink. There were 3 accessible floors. The cats were only on the third floor. The second floor is reserved for the dining area so the cats do not go near your food. The only downside was I could smell the cat litter in certain areas. I have been to other cat cafes before where the litter trays were hidden in a separate room with no odour. However, my partner could not smell the litter at all. Otherwise the cafe was very clean, and even had air purifier and a no outdoor shoe policy. Really enjoyed our time here, if I was staying in Bangkok longer I would...
Read moreReally well run cafe. There is a minimum order charge of 100baht when you go in, and also a minimum charge depending on how long you spend with the cats - I think it was around 280baht for 90 minutes for two of us, but if your food bill comes to more than this then it is removed. We had coffee with the banana caramel French toast and Teriyaki chicken and rice, both were really good! The cats are on the 3rd floor and you have to take off your shoes and sanitise before going up there to play with them and feed them with food available for purchase. The friendly staff then bring your food to the 2nd floor dining area and you are called down when it is ready. The cats all seemed very happy well cared for. Would advise booking to ensure a slot as although it was quiet when we went (midday just after opening on a Thursday) its not the biggest cafe so could see it getting busy. I'm not even the biggest cat lover but I had a good time, would...
