Shoutout to my new Thai friend Mr.Artit my tour guide for this trip! Mr. Artit was the BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER! (i will explain, trust me just book this if your in bangkok thailand!) This experience was the highlight of my entire trip to Thailand! Best experience i could have even dreamed of for coming here! I booked the elephant sanctuary/erowan falls combo package trip. they have a couple different packages so make sure you read which version your booking, but this one was amazing for me! booking was very easy off their website just texted Eddie over whatsapp, agreed on a day/time and was assigned Mr. Artit as my driver for the very next day. Mr. Artit texted me to confirm and introduce himself pretty much right after i booked through whatsapp. Start time was 6am next day, Mr.Artit texts me at 5:45am sharp with picture of his car and my name written on paper in the car window and was right at my hotel door waiting for me early and told me to take my time if i wanted. Right off the bat really like this guy! Car was super comfortable luxury lookin SUV, gave me free water and snacks, pit stopped at a local spot for some mom and pop home made pork over rice breakfast that was really delicious! got some kasava/fried banna chips to go from a local vendor here also delicious! also he asked me to put on my fav music tunes the entire trip there so i really enjoyed the drive. He was giving such good sanctuary and elephant information and tour guide spots the whole way there. Finally we arrive at elephant sanctuary and it was such an amazing experience. we start with hand feeding elephants kasavas and watermelons whole and Im petting them! lol The elephant care takers and Mr. Artit were so friendly and helped me take a lot of pictures the entire time! We then take a ride in a truck to cut some tall farm grass to feed the elephants later, and we make some handmade bannana grass rice balls for the older elephants that lost their teeth, it was quite fun and humbling at the same time. Then we go to a mud pit and bath the elephants in mud lol! (they love it!) Then we go to the river and get to scrub them clean and swim with the elephants! the caretakers got us good making the elephants spray us with water from their trunks lol! And made sure everyone got good photos for a great memoryLiterally it was so much fun to be this close and personnel with elephants! They are really gentle giants! Then we get to have a really great included in the initial booking price local food buffet at the sanctuary, no extra cost! Anyways, this is only HALF the trip i booked! In the afternoon Mr.Artit then takes me to Erowan falls national park. WOW this place is BEAUTIFUL! Literally got to swim in several different NATURAL waterfalls here! Hiking through rainforest and this is a must book guys just trust me, look at my pics. Mr.Artit really took care of me this trip, snacks, drinks, information, took so many great photos and videos for me as a solo traveler and even gave me first aid kit when i had a small cut on my foot without me asking, he just offered it. Thai people are literally so kind and generous. I am truly humbled and grateful to have gotten to enjoy this experience and have Mr.Artit make it so ez for me. If you guys book this trip and get Mr. Artit you will understand that this guy is a gem of a human being (he has the save elephants shirt in my pic!). Words dont do this trip or him justice it was so good but ill try my best cuz it was that great and worth every penny and it helps the elephant sanctuary who treat the elephants very humanely and with kindness and loving care and it helps feed the elephants and alao puts food on the table for local Thai people that work here and do tours Elephants eat 500kg of food per day! Thats expensive! Help the elephants and help the locals out AND you get to have the trip of your life! Trust me BOOK this trip! Mr. Artit, Thank you for everything! you made my trip to thailand the best!

This adventure was one of the most beautiful things that my partner and I were allowed to experience! We were warmly welcomed and picked up by our driver Artit at 6:00 a.m. on the dot. The drive was already an excellent introduction to this adventure and our driver Artit always gave his best to make us feel comfortable. The journey is a bit longer at 2.5 hours from Bangkok, but our driver Artit made frequent stops and made sure that we had a delicious breakfast and a good coffee for the early hours. In addition, he created a pleasant atmosphere with his friendly manner and personality and told us a lot of interesting information about Thailand, the elephants and various information about the areas through which we drove. In addition, Artit wanted to show us as much of the area as possible and therefore stopped at sights such as the historic Bridge on the River Kwai or the Tiger Cave Temple, which amazed us all the more. So the travel time was not a problem but a kind of bonus 😇. When we arrived at the elephant world, we could already marvel at the first elephants and were warmly welcomed by the team. At the beginning we were allowed to feed the different elephants and were able to get very close to them - which was just an indescribable feeling! After that we went on and we were allowed to cook a rice dish for an older elephant, which was a cool experience. After that it was already noon and then it was our turn to eat. The food was delicious and you could eat as much as you wanted! :) After the meal we went back to the elephants and to my favorite part of the whole adventure - bathing in the mud with the elephants. This was an absolute highlight and a unique experience where you could be very close to the animals and have a lot of fun with them. :) Then we went into the water to clean up, which was also a lot of fun. After that it was already 04:00 p.m. and we went back into the shower to get rid of the mud residue. Finally there was a coffee and sweet treats before Mr. Artit drove us back to Bangkok. Again, the ride was very pleasant and he showed us various sights, helped us take photos and made sure that we felt comfortable. In general, Mr. Artit was always there and took a photo or two of us. He always tried very hard to capture as many moments as possible for us on camera, for which we are very grateful that we can now look back on these great memories. Mr. Artit was extremely caring and friendly, which is why I would use him as my driver/guide again at any time. :)But also the whole team of the elephant world is extremely friendly and courteous. We would like to thank ALL those responsible for this great adventure!! Definitely worth it and the price is more than justified and worth the experience. I would definitely do it again and recommend it to everyone!!!!! 🐘😇

Wow. Just wow. An unforgettable experience well worth every penny. I went for the afternoon trip as a single traveller. First off, if you read their site you may think "wow no way we get to do all of it" but you DO. Everything on their site you DO. Fully accurate website. From a great buffet on arrival, to fresh drinking water and lockers all included to some of the best staff I have had the pleasure of having an experience with. My driver (KRIT) picked me up EARLY from the hotel (A+ for that) was so kind and polite, making a stop when needed to get coffee. His driving was safe and he was extremely professional and courteous, providing cold towels and fresh cold water on pickup and drop off. The actual sanctuary is about 2.5 hours from Bangkok, but Krit made that drive easy and feel fast. The actual guides and experience was SUPERB. Beyond my expectations and exactly what I HOPED this would be, when I signed up. I wish I could remember my tour guides name (sorry man but you were AWESOME!!) You start off feeding the elephants with prepared watermelon & pumpkin. Then you go into the fully open area, cut down cane stalk for the elephants food and go feed them more. Then we get over to their elder elephant "Granny" who doesn't have teeth, so we prepared a mix of sticky rice and pumpkin and fruits. Because she has no teeth, you don't just let her pick up the food you give her with her trunk, but feed her directly into her mouth (insanely amazing experience!) Then, you're off to the muddy pond area and give the elephants a mud bath, while in the pond. Then you walk to the river with the elephants and wash them in the river, prepare to get wet! Then some chill time and return back to your hotel. They pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Incredible ethical place to interact with some of the most gentle majestic animals on the planet. Once you're on the grounds, you will notice NO fences, NO walls. You are RIGHT there with the elephants, interacting in a way I didn't think would b possible. 10/10 experience. 10/10 driver Krit. 10/10 guide. It's more expensive but worth every penny and you can tell, they care for these elephants properly. Beyond happy with my experience

The actual sanctuary is about 2.5 hours from Bangkok, but Krit made that drive easy and feel fast.

The actual guides and experience was SUPERB. Beyond my expectations and exactly what I HOPED this would be, when I signed up.

I wish I could remember my tour guides name (sorry man but you were AWESOME!!)

You start off feeding the elephants with prepared watermelon & pumpkin.

Then you go into the fully open area, cut down cane stalk for the elephants food and go feed them more.

Then we get over to their elder elephant "Granny" who doesn't have teeth, so we prepared a mix of sticky rice and pumpkin and fruits. Because she has no teeth, you don't just let her pick up the food you give her with her trunk, but feed her directly into her mouth (insanely amazing experience!)

Then, you're off to the muddy pond area and give the elephants a mud bath, while in the pond.

Beyond happy with...
