I'm giving this 4 out of 5 because I can't figure whether if this is a bar or a burger joint, or a hybrid ?? And the prices aren't exactly affordable for the locals either, I mean almost 400 baht for a signature burger (at the time of writing) when the common person here earns around 400 baht per day. It's obvious this business is targeted for tourists and westerners, certainly not for the locals who won't spend an entire day's salary on a burger. Infact, when I came, the only local Thais were the staff (including waiters/waitresses and chef, oh and the bar tenders), every customer was either European or North American.
Yes, the burger was delicious, super thick pattie, as it's 200 grams of beef, as opposed to those thin smashed burgers being only around approximately 110 grams. What I don't understand is, why did the burger come wrapped in paper when serving eat-in customers ??!! This is a waste of paper, especially when we're gonna take the burger out of the paper anyway. No, it doesn't score any points for presentation, all it does it show they don't care about the environment, in this day and age when we hardly touch paper.
I understand beef for the most part is imported from Australia or Japan, as beef production in Thailand is almost non-existent, but even then I'm not sure if it's appropriate to be charging western prices for the same thing we can get in our home counties 😕 Good thing they have the buy 1 get 1 free offer from 2am - 4am to give us an incentive to come then, I know I will be to mitigate for the high prices. Review update I decided to go at 3am to take advantage of the buy 1 get 1 free offer. Ordered the same burger (number 1) and the free one being number 3. Number 3 wasn't as good as number 1, but never the less I'm glad I took advantage of the...
Read moreI usually don’t rate any restaurant 1 star, since I’m in hospitality business, but this place deserve it
I stayed in Pullman and I decided to have a lunch today. When I walked in to restaurant only 1 table were in ….
Simple order was …
1 black coffee First course smashed avocado toast Second course is number 1 burger from their menu
The lady took the order, she repeat the order and left. My coffee arrived immediately. Good coffee! Unfortunately rest of order never arrived
The tables which arrived after me …literally 3 more tables got their orders and enjoyed their meal and 2 table even paid and left …. I was still sitting and patiently waiting for my order to arrive….
Finally after 47 minutes since no one ever do table touch staff is busy with talking to eachother I asked one of them where is my order.
Only 4 tables inside they can’t even handle it No one knows what’s order and what happened to my order…
One lady I assume she is a manager or supervisor approached and apologize that there was a miss communication and she added even if she wants to take care of me can not it’s because of smashed avocado takes a long time
How about burger ! No answer She said that I don’t need to pay for coffee ( very nice of her !!! )
The things you have to work on! 1- how to handle customer complaints 2- to follow up orders 3- keep in touch with guests / table touch 4- eye contact with guest so you can see them 5- kitchen and restaurant coordination 6- going extra mile. Never let your guest walk away unhappy
I have nothing to say about food since I never get a...
Read more25 degrees won first place in the Hamburger competition this year (September 2016) so I wanted to give them a try. They also have vegetarian burgers here, which was the other reason to check them out. I ordered the #3:Mezzo Seco Jack, Green Chili, Chipotle, Avocado, well done and it was absolutely delicious. The hamburger was served with lettuce, tomatoes, onion and homemade pickles on the side. I also ordered the onion which had a nice light batter. They have happy hour from 3-7 where they have 4-5 items that are buy one get one free for 80 baht. I like to take the MRT or BTS wherever I can. To get here using public transportation take the MRT to Si Lom and then interchange with the BTS Sala Daeng to Chong Nonsi from there it's a a quick 7 minute walk. However you do have to cross Silom to get to the Pullman Hotel where 25 degrees is located. This is a small cozy place with a diner feel to it. They have an outdoor smoking section. Give them a try you won't be...
