So good!
My choices for restaurants around were expensive dining or tourist trap cheaper restaurants with men holding up placards trying to call you in. I gave WaShin a text after walking past it many times.
Very delicious, the soup has a lot of flavours, some umami action going on. The noodles is al dente and easy to chew. Meat was melt-in-your-mouth kind, soy sauce egg 👍🏻😊
I dined alone and was comfortable. The waitresses are sweet. The atmosphere is cool!
Request: play Japanese music! Instrumentals, old city pop, anything. It was disturbing to listen to 90s American hits while enjoying umami flavours of Japan, looking at red lanterns 🏮 and japanese scripts...

Then the egg roll filled with chachu pork, smooth and soft texture. The gyoza was not bad, but I don't like the texture of the pork inside. Chicken karage is almost like Hachiban but better in a good way. Then come the high light the ramen is phenomenon, perfect noodle texture and rich and smooth creamy soup. The quality and taste took me back to Japan. Been searching for good ramen in BKK, certainly this place is one of my top...
