Read moreThe location is right across the river from the mall ‘ICONSIAM’ and is actually part of the there are 5 levels of the whole building but you can only enter from the top which is the fifth floor to buy your entrance fee.
The entrance fee is 100 THB for a day and yearly isn’t badly priced as well being 1200 THB. The buying process is pretty simple. All you’ve got to do to get registered is have your passport, pay and youre all set. I’d recommend keeping your ticket for the duration of your stay as you’ll be scanning it to get in and out.
It’s a huge, spreadout area with each floor seeming to have it’s own purpose with some people renting out entire rooms to do a group/work project. The 4th floor seems to be the most occupied with actual large seating areas in the middle and some off to the side. All floors are clean and well taken care of.
The exit is also all the way at the bottom at the 1st floor. Overall, it’s a nice mix of a place to come to to get stuff done if you’re working on computer or even as a student. There’s also a nice view at the 4th floor of ICONSIAM...
Read moreWent on a Sunday. Wayfinding was terrible for a design centre. We were unable to locate the gallery, which, btw, if you enter from the front building like we did, is located at the back building that can be accessed through a closed and hidden black sliding door located at the "meeting point". There were no signages to indicate that it was to be accessed by visitors and appeared to be a restricted area. Once you've gone past this door, you'll find yourself in the Postal Office, which is a massive hall. Instructions by the security guard was to head up a short flight of stairs, which would lead you to another area with more staircases. The wayfinding signage here said to go straight, and turn left. However, there was no left turn at the end of the corridor. We spent the entire visit lost and confused.
In the front building, most areas were restricted to members only. We were able to enjoy a small exhibition at the front area that showcased some students' work.
Altogether, would not recommend. There are many other better creative arts / design galleries to spend...
