Cockado's — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

One of those finds, when you are traveling, that will make for a most wonderful memory. The atmosphere is worldly, from the mosaic tiled patio to the original artwork inside. You can also find carved wooden statues and original handmade jewelry from one of the owners himself! I left with a beautiful necklace. If that isn't enough, sample the menu. Everything was delicious. The lemon grass chicken wings were so crisp and flavorful, I will travel to Thailand just for those. The owners and staff are so welcoming, step through the door and you are already an old friend. A must visit...

Great reclaimed art work! They took an old Thai bus and nailed a bunch of old beach trash to it... Amazing atmosphere! Their drinks are great too. Plenty of tables to eat your street food on.... They also don't use any single use plastic. Only down side is they're only open on Sunday night ( night of Lamai beach night market) but they have a great little restaurant near but that's open during the week. We are there all the time! It's called cockados snack shack...check...

Spent several hours here drinking beers and chatting with the owner, Lek and her husband. This is the perfect gem in Koh Samui. We loved our time here because we felt right at home. Good conversation with good people and tons of local tips! Beautiful art on the inside and an adorable little watch-cat. :) If you are visiting Koh Samui, you must stop in for a drink...
