Small local restaurant run by friendly lady with husband (maybe?). Menu is slightly limited now, I guess due to the drop in number of tourists to Samui, but quality is good and the ingredients are fresh. Price is affordable too. We were there for lunch and dinner, and we especially liked the som tum, fried spring rolls and stir fried chicken with ginger. They tasted home made and not overly salty or spicy. The place is laid back, no music and not much of scenery to look at, just traffic and a bit of people watching. But there's a friendly white dog to keep you company, he's a really good dog, loves head scratches, doesn't bark and leaves you alone...

The incredibly friendly and welcoming owners made us feel right at home from the very beginning. You can really tell this place is run with heart and passion.
The food is authentic Thai cuisine at its best. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious ā no frills, just honest, delicious food.
Prices are more than fair for the quality offered. A special highlight was the Massaman curry ā one of the best Iāve ever had. The sauce wasnāt creamy, but full of deep, rich flavors, perfectly balanced and true to its traditional roots.
