This is the best French bakery on Koh Samui. I've been visiting this café since 2010, and every time I come to the island, I'm eager to enjoy real French croissants and baguettes right here. The breakfasts are perfect, with very advantageous sets such as the English breakfast, or you can compose your favorite breakfast since the variety of products they produce is simply astonishing. The large selection of desserts will not leave connoisseurs of sweets indifferent; I would confidently say that each dessert is a little masterpiece, they are so varied and very delicious. Coming this year, I saw that the bakery had moved to this new location, and I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement, it has become more convenient in terms of table arrangement, there is a large parking area, and they have added an indoor space with air conditioning which is excellent! The staff is very responsive and pleasant, it's evident that they put in a lot of effort to keep up with the morning rush of all guests. If you frequently visit the café, you may catch the breakfast peak, and you might have to wait a bit longer than usual, but please be indulgent as this only highlights that you are in a place chosen by many. The owner, Sebastien, being in his café every day is wonderful, as in the best traditions of top-quality products, seeing how he works together with the staff and finds time to talk to you or just send you a smile. Thank you to the owner, Sebastien, for the hard work of maintaining and developing the café so that when you come in the morning for 30-60 minutes, you receive the best experience formed...
Read moreRead good reviews so was excited about this place but we left disappointed. Asked for 2 cappuccinos & then stopped her to ask if we could change. She said no problem, she hadn’t reached the kitchen yet, we asked for 2 English breakfasts which included tea & juice for 150 each. She brought over one breakfast with tea & juice then 5 minutes later brought 2 cappuccinos. I told her that’s a mistake we said we didn’t want them anymore because breakfast included drinks, and I told you that we don’t want the coffees before you even made them. She said but I’ve made them now, and left. She then came back over, took one coffee away & didn’t say a word. 20 minutes later we called her over to ask where the other breakfast is. She said oh, you want 2? (There are 2 people sat here...) The breakfasts were below average. The warm bread roll was nice, but the eggs had shell in them and the beans had a bug buried underneath. When the other breakfast finally came we were so fed up we didn’t even want it. My partner ate some quickly and we asked to pay, they charged us for extra cappuccinos even though we cancelled them before they were made, and didn’t drink the one she left. 420 Baht total. So we wouldn’t eat here again, & we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else. We overheard another table saying they didn’t like their food either. Such a shame because the layout of the tables in the...
Read moreCan’t say enough praises to this place, my favorite in Koh Samui! It literally saved the breakfast situation for me. The place is very cosy and friendly. I felt like in childhood when I was coming back from school and my mom was baking something and there was this sweet smell everywhere. Everything is made with a heart and love. They have amazing pastry and croissants, very subtle tastes. I feel they also have very good quality control and use very good ingredients, because it smells simply delicious and melts in your mouth. The coffee was great, strong with a bitter taste, not sour like in most other places in the island. We ordered a huge cake for a friend’s birthday and it was perfect, yummy-yummy and beautifully decorated! I feel there are people who are sent to other countries on religious missions and some people are sent abroad on a culinary mission :) If you enjoy good food, this is definitely a place to go while you stay...
