We ordered starters, 2 entries, and 3 drinks The restaurant was empty, it took 15 minutes to get the drinks and the servent managed to spill it over the table, they only replaced one drink which was completely spilled.
20m later we got the starters, one starter was ok, the other was terrible , some ingredients were expired, and they simply ignored us, saying they sincerely apologize.
Then 50 minutes later we got the entries, and both of them were not eatable.
We ordered a steak that was not eatable and a duck that was eatable, we then complained, and the chef simply left the restaurant .
We waited for him, when he came back he ignored us, we went to him and explained the situation and he also said he sincerely apologized but thats it.
Overall, it feels like a scam, two British folks that pretend to run a legit chef restaurant, very small dishes, and very expensive the catch is the quality of the good and...
Read moreWhat a find! New restaurant in town and such a great concept. Beautiful, minimalist, warm, and spotless interior and exterior seating. The owner, Adam, went out of his way to “delight” when I asked for chicken tacos sans tortillas (as I’m gluten-free). His team delivered a hearty reinvention of a chicken salad, and he even added complimentary sweet potato wedges (which were chunky and spiced perfectly!). I returned for an evening meal and thoroughly enjoyed the chicken green curry which was a flavorful twist on a Thai classic. The chef, Andre, creates nuanced flavors that are so fun to explore. Really well done! My server, Htein, was quick with a smile and stood ready for whatever I needed. The whole team is fun, optimistic, attentive and exude a pride for what they’ve all created! Grateful to have...
Read more4 of us came in for morning drinks. We were immediately impressed by the decor and ambiance. Fruit shakes were thick and tasty while the coffee was of highest quality (Italian?). We watched some dishes leave the kitchen and their presentation was impressive. As we left we met Adam (co-owner?) And the head chef Adrian. Nice people who really care about what they do. As it happens, 2 hours later we returned to have a late breakfast. The dishes were creative, different than the typical dishes you find elsewhere, and tasty. I've learned long ago that the look of the bathroom is a pretty good indication of the level of care an owner has. The bathroom at East West is immaculate, with attention to detail. Seating is available inside and out. You owe yourself to try it at least once although I'm sure you'll be...
