I’ve visited Jano Restaurant several times, and each visit has been a delightful experience due to their fantastic food and top-notch service.
What's remarkable is their extensive menu that spans more than 20 pages, offering dishes from around the globe – from Western favorites to delicate Japanese cuisine, diverse Chinese flavors, and authentic Thai dishes. And that's not all; they offer a wide range of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, along with excellent coffee, tea, ice creams, and homemade sweets.
What's impressive is that despite this variety, the prices remain competitive, and the ingredients are always fresh. Each dish reflects the team's dedication to quality.
The staff, fluent in English and incredibly friendly, add to the welcoming atmosphere. Their attentive service makes diners feel valued and comfortable, enhancing the overall dining experience.
In a nutshell, Jano Restaurant is more than just a place to eat – it's an adventure through flavors served with excellence and complemented by outstanding service. It's a paradise for food lovers and explorers seeking a journey through different cuisines. Every visit here has left me happy and satisfied, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking not just a meal, but an unforgettable culinary experience.

Read moreWorst Thai : never had in Thailand such a bad experience! Reading the reviews here we thought we could spend a nice Thai evening with our big family. The staff did not notice us first, that in such a large restaurant then nobody really understands and speak a reasonably English is incomprehensible. the young, unmotivated staff is busy with themselves and their mobiles. we only ordered thaifood, only for 2 small kids pizza and fries, the vegetables we ordered as besides. Food came fast but was everything than Thai: everything was carelessly cut and cooked and tasteless flavored, we had to use spices for all dishes to get it reasonably tasty. The sauce we wanted was just not understood, which proves that the service has no idea. the vegetables were completely missing, and although everything should be served together, rice arrived cold. The beer was warm ! Vegetables they served when all were finished with eating. when we did not want to have it anymore, the ladyowner came up and scolded us in a way that became uncommonly loud and outrageous: we then paid for the no longer eaten vegetables and then left. avoid this unfriendly shop, they can not cook, put guests under pressure - even they will understand it only when the guests stay away. Worst experience we had ever in Samui - not friendly as we know...
Read moreOkay so this is one of those out-of-the-way restaurants off the beaten track but is clearly a well known gem amongst locals and those more connected Farang. You can even chose between Australia or local steaks at slightly different prices. A T bone or Rob eye AUS steak going at around B270. Don't expect frills but well priced food with...
