Mira Serene — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Bad service. Food was fine but not as advertised. We ordered a soup & 2 seafood dishes; the prawns & soup came first, snapper followed later. The tiger prawns in tamarind sauce were not particularly fresh tasting, and they listed 4 prawns for the price, ours was only 3 (which is a lot harder to share!). The tom kha soup with chicken was nice, not much to say there. The snapper with spicy "rice" salad was really yummy, definitely the highlight. They did a good job accommodating request for mild-moderate spiciness. Wait staff was MIA for long periods. The tables on the beach were lovely. The simplest improvement would be cloth napkins (tissue sized paper napkins in a dispenser on the table don't work so well for messy prawns & strong sea breezes!). Second time to Koh Samui, found this place while staying at Melia, we fell in love Charm and the staff at Mira Serene in 2024. The care and attention to ensure we have a great time with music and pool table, massages upstairs that are fantastic and beautiful food and the drinks are great. We spent many days returning for hours on end. Must try Charms Special Martini 😍😍😍 So grateful thank you Charm 🙏 In 2025 we returned to Mira Serene and Charm Hosted 50th birthday dinner party for our group of 13 well coordinated prior to arrival and all of our friends agree it was spectacular, it was such a special night for us and exceeded our wildest dreams, we were very happy with all prices and cannot thank you enough for making this day so special for our friends...

Amazing Beach Restaurant!

I had a fantastic experience at Miren Serene The view of the beach/sea was stunning, and the atmosphere was super relaxed.

The host was amazing super friendly and gave recommendations which did not fail to impress.

The food was delicious— especially the seamed snapper fish with Chilli and lime. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. There was also live jazz music and a beautiful singer. If you're looking for a great meal by the beach, I highly recommend. I can't wait to go back! Five...
