Was planning to visit the place since quite a bit and got the opportunity today . Place is very nice well set on the edge of the Choeng Mon bay beach just between two beaches ... well design with nice wood finishing.. tables and set up minimalist .. nothing to wow for. The menu it is appealing even tho a bit confused and after browsed the many pages you get a little confused about what to order . the issue is coming with the pictures and the descriptions ... decided to pick the pesto burrata ... in the description there was no mention if it was a pasta but just pesto with cashnuts and burrata .. so i double checked with the waiter and i was confirmed it was a rigatoni pasta with pesto sauce . The displaied picture seem to show a generour dish ..size wise.. and here comes the issue ... I was brought a mini kids tapas.. had count may be 10/11 rigatoni .. was super small .! ( see menu pics vs reality we got ) Had to order another portion as i felt to have just got the first bite of an appetizer . When i made the manager notice about the size , showing the picture on the menu and the real size they served .. her answer was just .. " everybody can see the picture is for two person ( gosh i cant believe she just said that ... people need to assume that picture are not done for single portion but for double and price are listed for half of picture portion size ) ...pity that on the menu is not listed for two person .. and then why they charge the price on the menu for the mini size and not the two person . Other than that the service is also another very painful issue .. nobody comes to the table , they have a lot of staff but they go around or grouped all together to a client table or behind the bar ...you have to show yourself arms up for several minutes hoping to catch someone attention to get what you want . Indeed not a friendly atmosphere and it is a real pity as the place would have a lot of potential but management is not as expected .. actually no managemnt at all there . Another disappointing thing are the sunbed on the beach ..normally in any hotel or beachclub here in thailand whether you are a restaurant clients you would get a free sunbed .. uhmm not the case here .. you need to pay 300 bath to use the sunbed on the beach.. even tho' you left a generous sum at restaurant for your lunch .Not a smart move ... as infact many people are laying down on the beach with their own towel and of course their own food..so no incoming for the sunbed neither for food and beverage from the restaurant . A minimum food and drinking spending with sunbed usage would have been smart move especially for the finance .What to say .. great potential but far way to be the place to be, till they do not change the product offer, quality ,attitude and service .. considering also the six stars prices... san miguel light at 170 plus vat. not going back indeed till changes are effectively done...And same story before to enter you can check the prices ..not also true there was no menu at entrance at least when we arrived .. and as a matter of the fact even if you would see them and agree .. then the higher price standard indeed set the client higher...
Read moreGreat place mustvizit. The restaurant is located on a cape and a spit extends from it to a small island where the hotel is located, so while you are there you can contemplate the view of Phangan on the left or the open sea on the right, or the island itself. Sometimes a truck goes to the island, carrying tourists with suitcases to the hotel directly on the water. Very atmospheric. The cape itself - the beach is quite wide and almost entirely in the shade of trees... In addition, there are many places under the roof in case of rain or if you are more comfortable. It's located on the edge so there aren't that many people there. The choice is yours: sit at a table on the sand, in the shade or in the sun, take a comfortable sun lounger or sit indoors but without windows. About the food: it’s not that I visited most of the restaurants on Koh Samui, however, I visited many in more than 3 months in general and 4-5 visits to the island. And it tasted best here. All dishes were simply excellent. We ordered: 1 rice with shrimp and pineapple, something like that. Essentially it’s paella or pilaf, in addition to rice and shrimp and vegetables there were raisins or something similar, cashews and something else, the taste is amazing. 2 I don’t remember the exact name, but it was grilled fish fillet along with sautéed vegetables and sauce - it was impossible not to finish it. 3 The pizza was also delicious, I won’t describe it in detail Separately: Bloody Mary is the best cocktail I've ever tried. Salty, spicy, sweet, very spicy but in moderation. Perfect balance of taste. Swallowing you understand that it is quite spicy (I took super-duper spicy, there are 3 options here), but apparently alcohol dampens the spice. You don’t want to take a big sip, you want to savor it and chew it, the sharpness goes away, a little time passes and you want to take another sip. I would probably call it not a bloody Mary, but a bloody okroshka (Russians will understand) because this cocktail also includes a large shrimp on a skewer, an olive, an olive and a pickled onion, also on a skewer, and pickled pepper. I have to demand that they send me the recipe. I will certainly come here again just for the Bloody Mary. Prices in the restaurant are slightly above average but not exorbitant. Soups around 250 Baht, pizza 350. I would also like to mention the staff, especially the slender European. He is so polite that it is impossible not to leave him a tip. An absolute pro. It seems he is the eldest there. I strongly and strongly recommend this place. In general, I can still write for a long time, but even without that it turned out to be voluminous. Thanks to everyone who read, I hope...
Read morePi Samui Beach Club & Restaurant isn’t just a place to eat or sip a cocktail—it’s a destination in itself. Set right on the sand, it offers the perfect blend of barefoot island vibes and sophisticated dining. The moment you arrive, you’re met with panoramic views of turquoise water, swaying palms, and a laid-back but chic atmosphere that makes you want to stay long after sunset.
The food is superb. Every dish feels fresh and thoughtfully crafted—whether it’s a perfectly grilled catch of the day, a vibrant Thai curry bursting with flavor, or an international favorite given a creative twist. Ingredients taste as though they’ve come straight from the market that morning, and presentation is as delightful as the flavors themselves. Pair this with a carefully mixed cocktail (or a chilled glass of wine) and you’re in beachside heaven.
But what makes Pi truly unforgettable is its energy. By day, it’s relaxed and breezy—the ideal spot for a lazy lunch or lounging by the sea with great music in the background. By evening, it transforms into a lively beach club, with fire-lit ambience, soft lighting, and just the right rhythm to keep the night flowing.
The staff add the final sparkle: friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make every guest feel special. You’re never rushed, always welcomed, and often remembered by name if you return—which you will.
