I was told about this lovely establishment from a tennis friend of mine. And that the owner Dave was from Hartlepool in England. By coincidence the same as me. I have eaten there about 6 times so far and live in Samui, retired and believe you me I am very fussy. So here are my marks out of 5. Customer service 5/5 Dave the manager is a nice guy, very professional in the way he runs his business, using good ingredients, varied menu and reasonable prices. I believe he worked in a top hotel in London The waitresses 5/5 The two young waitresses from Burma were nicely dressed, smiling, polite and welcoming. Establishment 5/5 nice contemporary style, clean and tidy Menu 5/5 very varied to suit all tastes I would recommend the bacon sandwich . It’s the best in Samui by a mile, danish bacon on nice soft bread, cooked to my requirement with a choice of sauces and a nice cup of English tea. I can understand why this guy has such good reviews . Give this place a try and say you read Gary’s review. I’m not on commission by the way but I like restaurant owners who are friendly and understand how to please their customers. Next time I will try the fish and chips and sample their...
Read moreMy friend and I stumbled across this restaurant during our visit to Koh Samui, and we are so glad we did! We had the most amazing Wagyu steak paired with some excellent wine, and we also had a chance to chat with the owner, David, and front of house, Mai. They were both so friendly and welcoming, and their passion for food and hospitality was evident in every aspect of our dining experience.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, and they went out of their way to ensure that our meal was memorable. The Wagyu steak was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sides were delicious as well.
Overall, we had a fantastic time at this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great company. Thanks to David, Mai, and the rest of the staff for a...
Read moreThis place is just fantastic. Incredible food and service, and the atmosphere is very good, even if I visited early in the day. I was even lucky enough to talk to the owner, David, great and friendly guy (I recommend you read his "history" on the menu, quite interesting). The waitress (Khane, I think... Sorry if it's wrong Khane), was so serviceminded, removed any used/empty items on the table immediately, and always with a smile. Pink Salt is placed right across the street from Bangrak Pier/ferry. Airconditioned and very clean. If you want to try something a little more "classy", but still cosy/friendly, this is the place. I'm leaving tomorrow, but I must certainly will come back next time I visit Koh Samui, and there will be...
