One of my favorite places for Southern Thai food in all of Thailand.
👍RECOMMENDED DISHES: 🦀Crab curry with rice noodles. 🍛Khua Kling (คั่วกลิ้ง), an intense dry meat curry, I liked the beef version. 🍳Bai Liang Phad Khai, a local leavy vegetable fried with eggs (ผักเหลียงผัดไข่). What I love in particular is that local foods often are served with an assortment of fresh, raw local vegetables and herbs. 🍹Mango passion fruit smoothie.
This place is popular particularly with locals, but also visitors.
🌶 Food is fantastic, particularly the local food menu items. (Just be aware that the regional food is typically more intense, a bit more on the spicy and salty side than in Central Thailand. Personally, we loved that though!)
🍝They have a large menu with all kinds of foods (Western foods, Japanese, Italian, etc etc). Tried the spinach with cheese, and the Spaghetti carbonara, which were both ok, but definitely not living up to the quality of the local food items.
🍮The chocolate pudding was just ok, and unfortunately at the time we were here (November) most of the mango dessert options were unavailable since mangos weren't in season—but in the end, I do respect their choice to not prepare these desserts when ripe sweet mangoes are unavailable.
Good service.
🚗Lots of parking available.
They also have an adjacent spa where massage treatments are available at very...
Read moreI use to work and run a restaurant in Chicago and this is my lunch experience at this place. Me and my partner found this restaurant from the Surat recommended. We went for lunch for the first impression is the place was nice with a lot of parking space and clean, with a lot of choice of food. The downside of this place is the service was not the friendliness and attentiveness the server is reminding me of my 15 years old when I asked her to get something for me don’t expect a smiling face and one of the dish fish and chips is like a kids meal for the price is very small. Over all the food is ok but I will not visit this...
Read moreTook this effort to try this restaurant recommended by The Michelin Guide. While they get it right 90-95% of the time, this was a miss for me. The yellow chicken curry was watery and tasteless, portions were small and the signature crab curry was served cool and not warm/ hot. It was definitely pre-cooked and served from a pot that was left for a while. Another challenge was a full menu in english and lack of English speaking (even basic) staff. This to me was a real let down. Only the fried garlic squid was good. Plus, pricewise this place was on the high side. I would rate the food a 2.5/5 not 3/5 as...
