The Hut is a hidden gem, tucked away in a cozy corner of culinary delight. It’s a place where authenticity is the secret spice, and the warmth of Thailand’s soul infuses every dish.
Let’s talk about the chicken Massaman curry. Oh, that curry! It’s a melody of flavors that sings on your palate, rich, aromatic, and with a taste that dances long after the meal is gone. Paired with vegetable fried rice, it’s a symphony in a bowl, a Thai treat that won’t be forgotten.
The vegetable spring rolls? They’re not just an appetizer at The Hut; they’re an event. Crispy, flavorful, and the perfect overture to a meal that delights from start to finish.
The service? Lovely as a Thai sunrise and attentive without being intrusive. It’s a warm welcome that starts your dining experience and a friendly farewell that sends you on your way.
Cheap? Yes, but only in price. The value is in the exquisite flavors, the genuine Thai experience, and the ambiance that makes you feel both at home and in a far-off land.
The Hut isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a culinary hug, a place where food is love, and love is Thai. Whether a seasoned traveler or a local looking for an escape, The Hut offers a taste of Thailand that’s as authentic as it is enchanting.
In short, it’s a treasure without the price tag, a meal without compromise, and an experience without equal. If The Hut’s not on your list, make some room. You...
Read moreThe best Thai restaurant on Koh Samui! We've been 12 times on the island and only this year we found this cafe and kept eating there the whole vacation. You will never find such a variety of dishes anywhere on Koh Samui, every traditional dish can be cooked a dozen ways and it always tastes great. My favourites are curry seafood of all the kinds (panaeng, massaman, green, etc), pineapple rice is also great, my husband's pleasure was fish cooked in different ways (sweet and sour/in panaeng curry). The portions are great, shrimps are really big and make you feel full and satisfied! The owners speak English pretty well, and are really kind and nice, the woman is so active and energetic and always makes you smile with her energy and drive. We'll be missing you and your food so much! Good luck to your cafe...

Old review: I went several times after this ordering various dishes. I had diarrhea on two occasions bad enough that I had to go to the pharmacy.
I have stopped going. Note I had seafood both...
