Serenity Massage — Local services in Ko Samui

I wish I could confirm that this place offers great foot massages but mine today was below average. The lady applied barely any pressure. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, when she started with the first foot, thinking she is just applying the oil all over but no, that was it. She moved on to my leg and I asked her to apply more pressure she did on my leg but after a few minutes it was back to soft rubbing. Why is it called a foot massage if 80% is legs and only 20% is focused on the actual feet. There are so many pressure points on your feet, that can be worked on but you need actual pressure for that. I was jealous of the man next to me, getting a way better massage than I did. My masseuse seemed tired but I was still charged full price.400 baht 60min. I walked in with my feet hurting and I walked out with my feet still hurting....

Went here after reading the good reviews but did not enjoy the massage. Got a foot & shoulder massage and asked for a hard massage. This gave the masseuse a concerned look and my worries were confirmed during one of the most light massages I ever experienced. At one point, a pen-sized stick was broughts out to ”floss” betweeen my toes and scratch my feet. It just did not make sense during the massage.

To be fair this place had like 10 staff waiting to give massages so the experience could hopefully be completely different with another masseuse. Will not return to this place.

My wife and I came to Koh Samui for our honeymoon and found Serenity Massage in Fisherman’s Village.

While we were getting a full body massage, the staff stole a total of 7,800 baht from us while we were asleep. We realized the money was missing right after we left.

When we went back to confront them, the manager was rude and even acted aggressively toward us.

Please be very careful if you plan to visit this place — or better yet, avoid it entirely. This is not the kind of experience anyone should have...
