Hidden gem at edge of Fisherman's Village! My husband and I stopped here for dinner having passed it on our way into the village on multiple occasions. We were so glad did. The food was amazing and the prices were a lot lower than most restaurants in the village. A lot of people miss this restaurant as its hidden at the end of a long street passed The Hut, but it is definitely worth a stop. We tried the massaman fried rice, egg wrapped pad thai and veg spring rolls with a drink each and the total cost was around 320 baht. This is the type of place for backpackers who are traveling the world. Very affordable prices, much lower comparing to the western restaurants on the central part, real authentic thai food, served by thai women and the money will stay in the local community. Dubious place, I’ll be honest… The price is x2 for typical Thai food. And quality food is not perfect.
Today I ate papaya salad, the shrimp is not fresh and cucumber with green beans as if rotten. The next dish was Stir fried chicken - 8/10. But portion of rice very small.
No hot tea, food not outstanding, overpriced - it’s my opinion of this cafe.
