The food is really surprisingly tasty, especially for the price. I'd been wanting to try this place for over a year before I finally went in! It was always so busy but the day we went in it wasn't too bad. It is a tiny restaurant with only 6 tables but the service can be a bjt slow, although the food is prepared very fast.

My mom and I ordered a ton of vegetarian dishes including the soybean paste tofu stirfry, eggplant stirfry, eggplant dessert, and some greens. The eggplant fries were really popular but we were too full to try more unfortunately. We ended up having lots of left overs to take home. The only thing we were disappointed by was that they didnt have any vegetarian dumpling options because the dumplings...

Summary: Really good Chinese comfort food at very reasonable prices and generous portions.

The eggplant french fries is a signature menu and a crowd favorite! The mapo tofu and stir fried string beans are never a miss. The sliced pork stir fry was also amazing. I have never ordered anything bad here over the years to be honest. All the wontons items both steamed and fried are very good.

Another very unique thing is the eggplant/taro dessert. Never had I thought that eggplant could be a dessert… but omg the thin slices with taro filling and panko fried pieces are to die for!

Parking: for this branch park at the lot for Chan Pen Restaurant. If you get a stamp from the restaurant you get 1 hour free and the rest is...

This was my first time at Sun Moon, despite their long-standing popularity. It’s no surprise they’ve been around so long—the food is excellent, very reasonably priced, and the service is good, even if they don’t understand 100% Thai. They also offer free parking at จันทร์เพ็ญ ลานจอด 2 (not sure for how long). I appreciate that they don’t sell alcohol, which is good for the community. I ordered many dishes, and every single one was fantastic—0% disappointment.

The only downside was the fried chicken, which had small cracked bones in it, requiring extra attention while chewing. On the bright side, it made me savor the taste more, so I guess...
