Tipsy Mango — Restaurant in Thung Maha Mek Subdistrict

The Tipsy Mango is a fairly new bar in the Sathon area on Soi Si Bamphen road. I ended up here by chance the second day they were open, and I’m definitely glad I did. The owners are very friendly and easygoing people who genuinely take interest in you and want to give you a fun experience. They also take the time to explain all of the drinks to you.

The shop reminds me of tasting rooms in Southern California. They have craft beer, mead, plum wine, sato (sticky rice wine), and more! And it’s all from local and regional Thai brands. They also serve some very tasty restaurant versions of Thai street food. The pork neck was really really good! A nice textural food with a charred, caramelized exterior and good marbling.

I was at Tipsy Mango during their soft opening. Their beverage selection is top-notch! I’ve never seen their beer and wine offerings anywhere else. If you’re the type that want to try something new, this is a good place to be!

Food-wise, I love their selection of thai snacks. It’s not big portion or meals, which are perfect for drinking.

Id go to Tipsy Mango after a nice dinner. My personal favorites are the Pani Puri and Mango roti. Would literally come back for this!

To top it all off, the owners and staff are all nice and hospitable. They are all smiles serving the food and are attentive.

Found myself here into the late night last weekend drinking with an old friend, the owner of the bar, and a few other folks. Really enjoyed the conversation. Owner/staff are friendly and engaging.

Solid beer selection. Appropriately priced for imports. I had eaten already so did not partake of the food. But it looked tasty.
