Tatum steakhouse — Restaurant in Trat Province

So slow! Food came in dribs and drabs. Some of us had finished our meals entirely before others’ meals even arrived. We ordered fish and the kids had nachos and some pasta. The nachos were cold, tasted of wotsits and were covered in orange cheese powder, many of them were burnt and there was just one tiny sour-tasting sprinkle of plastic cheese on the top. The carbonara was completely tasteless. No salt or pepper on the table. The snapper was lovely. But the barracuda wasn’t at all like the beautiful whole-fish, herby, steamed photograph on the menu. It was just chunks of soup-grade bony fish bits in a soup, with the texture like they’d been over-boiled. We were there over two hours for a one-course quick early supper and it wasn’t worth the time...

We enjoyed a delicious meal here this evening. The tenderloin steak was superb and cooked perfectly medium rare. So soft and melt in the mouth. My husband and I ordered BBQd seabass but unfortunately it was accidentally given to another couple. The staff had a BBQd red snapper already cooked (which was probably meant for the other couple) which they offered instead. Although we were disappointed to not have the seabass, the snapper was delicious so not all bad in the end! We also enjoyed the papaya salad and crab fried rice. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend....

Don’t waist your time and your money. Horrible chicken salad and we couldn’t eat the tom yum soup. Also we waited more than 30min and they bring wrong order, so we wait extra 15min for the new dish that we couldn’t eat. Finally we had to pay 400bath for a terrible food experience....
