Phenomenal Korean BBQ experience in Bangkok, only good things to say! Ordered the Beef Set to share between two and it was perfectly-portioned and well-priced (฿2,350). The selection of meat was incredible, but me and my boyfriend agreed that the ribeye and short rib were better than the brisket. The banchan was very delicious, we especially loved the japchae and kimchi. The cheese-wrapped beef in the end is also a delight, but a very rich mouthful! We ordered tteokbokki and it was also very tasty, with a nice seafood taste. The whole process is so smooth: the meat is cooked to your liking by the staff, and the banchan refilled without asking. The staff are very friendly and attentive: they ask you how rare you want your meat to be cooked, change the grill according to the meat being cooked, and frequently adjust the exhaust fan so there is no oil spatter (they provide aprons and plastic bags for your bags, so if there is any there is not a worry). They don’t take reservations and I’d imagine it gets pretty busy on the weekends, but we went on a Monday around 6 and didn’t have any issues. Better than any Korean BBQ I’ve had in London, Singapore, and Toronto, so if you’re in Bangkok and want Korean BBQ...
Read moreWe spent about THB3000 for 2 simply because we were not familiar with the menu, it being our first time. What we ordered - the beef set, came with a hotpot, on top of the 2 different cuts of beef, on top of the many side dishes. The quality was very good and certainly the food would have been enough for 4. They had offered us a complimentary risotto as we waited for over 30 mins for our table but we had to decline as we couldn’t eat so much and they could not replace it with something lighter. The beef was tasty and so were the banchan. The hotpot was comparatively bland.
The staff were very attentive, patiently grilling the meat and topping up the condiments once they noticed more was needed. There were thoughtful touches with plastic covers for bags, though I wasn’t offered any, not that I minded.
The atmosphere is as expected for any KBBQ joint. There is a cafe next door waiting parties can spend time at while waiting to get in here.

Read moreMy family’s favourite Korean BBQ place, we usually come here for dinner when visiting my brother in the city. The place is always packed, so I recommend you spare some waiting time or go a bit early. We waited for about an hour this time (and for those who wait longer than 30 mins, they offer you complimentary cream risotto). I was starving before, so I had some toast at Mont Nomsod right next to the restaurant (tasty and convenient) while listening to the queue call.
The staff were accommodating, they grill stuff for you (and are good at it) so no worries about having to handle the grilling. And food always tastes good. The weather has been hot, so we tried cold buckwheat noodle this time. It was very refreshing, I normally don’t prefer cold noodle but I like it. The portion is generous too. Risotto bowl looked small but it was actually plenty since it’s really filling. Compared to other restaurants of the same quality, the price...
