Not Recommended Go Elsewhere- High Price, Low Quality With its premium pricing and tourist-heavy foot traffic, this Thai restaurant presents itself as an upscale destination. Naturally, I walked in with high expectations. Unfortunately, what I experienced was a steady decline in both food quality and service, leaving me more disappointed than satisfied. 🧑‍💼 Service: Discriminatory & Disengaged The service was notably poor. Staff refused to provide basic courtesies like car park validation and displayed clear favoritism—only attentive to high-tipping tourists while treating other guests with visible disinterest. Their facial expressions changed instantly depending on who you were, creating a sense of discomfort and discrimination that has no place in hospitality. It felt like locals were second-class citizens in their own culinary culture. 🐟 Food Quality: Once Acceptable, Now Slipping While the fish and seafood were still reasonably fresh, one major letdown was the sea mussel—overcooked, rubbery, and far from fresh. A serious flaw for any seafood-focused restaurant. The rice, too, was subpar: hard, dry, and lacking the smoothness that defines quality Thai rice. Overall, the food was just at the minimum expected level—and certainly not reflective of the price. 🏯 Atmosphere: Just Average The ambiance was neither refined nor inviting. It did little to elevate the meal or distract from the service and food issues. 💬 Final Verdict: This used to be a decent spot, but the direction it’s heading is worrying. The service has become cold and discriminatory, and the food, once passable, is now clearly slipping—especially with overcooked, unfresh items like mussels. With such high prices, the experience feels unjustified. ⭐ Final Rating: 2/5 No longer recommended. A textbook case of a restaurant coasting on past reputation while standards quietly crumble.

Like the ambience when we reached.. there are plenty of parking spaces at the back if you can't find 1 at the entrance. The road is kind of narrow, though.. ok, come back to the food.. is my first time to this restaurant, and the interior is well segregated where there's individual room or small compartments and open air depending on your meal purposes. We got ourselves a small enclosed compartment and had some form of privacy. The meal was an experience because the service was excellent by the waiters and waitresses, secondly the food is very tasty too. We had the very famous fried curry crabmeat. Yes, it does look like a patch of yellow mud, but the taste is commendable. You can try their braised pork belly, which is tender! Then we jad grilled assorted seafood where you'll have river big head prawn, clams, squids, and snails dipped into the spicy green sauce.. not for the faint-hearted if you can't take spicy sauces, ya... it doesn't stop there, we also ordered steamed grouper which is boiling hot with the candle at the bottom which I felt can blow if if you don't eat it instantly because you will overcook the fish.. yes, the "fire" is burning!! Not forgetting the vegetarian 4 types of vege is also very refreshing.. lol, running out of words how to describe vegetable taste 😝 and we also had soup which is quite an eye opener for me coz never had such type of soup, is a pleasant one of course... with that amount of food, we can't consume all and had to take away, which they packed right in front of you instead of taking it back to the kitchen..

My first time at this place which my friends raves about. Service was prompt & polite. The dishes arrives quickly. 1st dish is their signature curry crab which surprisingly is not spicy at all but nonetheless taste good- word of advise only order the one with crab shell, the one with only the deshelled crabmeat tastes quite bland. 2nd dish is the deep fried seas bass which I love as it is really crispy and tastes really goid. 3rd dish is the tom y gong which does not disappoint. 4th dish is their fried vegetable (water spinach) which is a major disappointment as it is quite bland and to make itworse the veggie is overriped!!. 5th dish is the oyster omelet which although is quite nice but not to our liking as we're used to the crispy version. Lastly had the yam pudding with syrup which is a bit to sweet for my taste. Overall will definitely recommend this place.

Food was good but how one of the waitress treated us there ruined our first experience.

What happen was we brought our own drink. We didn't know we weren't allowed or additional charges will be included in our overall bill. We didn't see any signage at all. And before we even open the bottle, we did tell them we will drink our own drink and nothing was said.

So after we open the bottle and drank it all, a waitress rudely slamped a notice on to our table and told us that an additional 100bhat will be added to the bill.

Firstly, the waitress should have spoken to us NICELY instead of slamming the notice on to our table and speaking to us with such a disgusting attitude.

Secondly, we did tell a wait staff that we will be drinking our drink. If it wasn't allowed, they should have told us right there instead of having us completing that bottle and charging us that extra fee.

I strongly advise you to retrain your staff on their customer service because the way we were...
