AKOYA|Star Lounge — Restaurant in Wichit

I will give this place 3* review… Staff is well trained and welcoming, for that 1* extra Reservation is a bit of a mess as they text and call you from different numbers and ask the same stuff all the time. Moreover, I asked for frontrow seat reservation - it was told that it is booked out and I cannot take the spot. Once I arrived, the spot was free for our whole stay in this lounge/restaurant and were not even offered for a table upgrade, even tho it was never reserved for anyone - that’s a shame ;)

Food - not the best quality of food according to their price list for dishes that start from 600b++ and starters 300b++

We ordered Pasta with seafood (mussels were disgusting), overall pasta was just a regular pasta, nothing special. Buratta was really tasty but you could add more balsamico tho. Ordered white fish for about 1000b which was really nothing else than any other dish anywhere else, just well decorated.

We ordered starter and main food. We were warned that for food we will need to wait, that was no problem for us, but they brought everything at once and starter was brought only after 5-10 minutes after the main dish were brought (who does that??). So I thought that I’ll finish my snack at the room later so I asked it for takeaway but we waited 15 minutes and just left because it was never brought back to us.

Cocktails are good but way too pricey. One regular cocktail goes for around 600b++ . At least it was changed as we didn’t like the taste of it, other one was good. Cocktails are quite good.

I can recommend this place, DJ was nice, atmosphere is great and you should come before sunrise for sure. Wouldn’t give this place 5* just because of the whole experience that happened nor there is any specials for birthdays :) At least a cupcake with burning candle is possible to arrange, won’t harm your business but now it harms a bit your reviews...

It was quite a disappointment on the service and food. The ambience was kinda affected with the ugly construction crane.

Food was terrible, calamari arrived at room temperature, extremely overpriced wanton/dumpling which they wrongly named as gyoza, tuna taco has this disgusting sauce that made it horrible. Only cheeseboard was pretty good. Cocktails were alright and generally price around 600baht and the wines minimally on the average of 3000baht per bottle.

Service was just disappointing, we arrived early and it was scorching hot. Trying to take some photos and hence probably just need 3mins on the empty sunbed for a quick photos. Despite the manpower, they fail to do basic services like noticing the lack of tissue and cutleries. Did not bother to offer clearing plates in time and when cake was served they didn't even take the initiative to provide extra clean plates and spoon for us to consume. We have to repeatedly call for service and assistance. But well they were fast at one thing, refilling our wine and ask if we need another bottle :) Highly recommend not to specially travel (we came from Nai Hern area almost 1 hour drive work traffic)

There will definitely be much better views at many other places and especially much better food and service and not forcing you to spent 2000baht per pax in advance for such low...

She spoke to me and my cousin very rude asking us to leave . we came to take a photos , you should find a better way to say that to the cstmrs “ RUDE and u KNOW “ . And by the way I came last year i took lots of photos to my followers because yes I’m a blogger , we tried the food and it was horrible we couldn’t even finish it . This time i came with my cousin only to show her the lounge and the view + taking some photos after we already booked to the other restaurant at the same hotel , I even complained to the very smart manager and he showed a ZERO care !!!
