Baiyok Restaurant is one of the few decent restaurants in Betong town. It is located 30 meters away from Betong clock tower, along the main road.
The restaurant is very clean and since I am there on Friday when crowds is very less compared to the weekend, the whole restaurant is just us. There was two staff handling the floor who is very polite and friendly. Both speak Cantonese as well.
We ordered tom yam, papaya salad, fish cake, chicken, and another dish that looks like green curry but it wasn’t. No idea what was that as we ordered through pictures. Taste-wise, it is delicious. Maybe we are hungry.
From the past review, most are good and the price is quite steep. 4 dishes and drinks for 7 pax is THB 1,750. That is RM 214 for a normal lunch. It is quite expensive but since it’s a holiday, no issues about that.
