Arabica in Bangkok has definitely an elevated experience and atmosphere, and this outlet definitely raised the standards skywards (quite literally). The whole experience is a work of art. The outlet is situated on the 55th floor of Tower 1 of Empire State Building. They have a dedicated lobby with elevators that heads directly to that level. The experience starts from the lobby, where staffs will greet and welcome you before directing you into a walkway, where you’ll be greeted by dimmed lights and another walk way that opens to more artwork. I dropped by on a Wednesday afternoon during lunchtime around 1230pm and it was surprisingly not too crowded. I was fortunate as I was able to quickly secure a seat before ordering and got my drink in less than 10mins upon arriving at level 55. There’s a spectacular view overlooking King Power Tower which is the iconic Tetris like building. I ordered a hot regular sized Kyoto latte (155THB) and was fortunate to have a beautiful latte art crafted for me. Why I say fortunate because shortly after I saw a couple beside me being served subpar latte art. The Kyoto latte was rich, creamy and sweeter than your average coffee. I managed to snap a couple of photos with the King Power tower in the background, together with the reflective table, making it altogether a very iconic shot of %. All in all, a very worthwhile experience considering the prices are not marked up at all and there’s no minimum spend when visiting the level. Nonetheless, I can imagine how packed and hard it’ll be to get seats or even order coffee when it’s busy. Definitely recommended!

Coffee in The Clouds! The Arabica Coffee on the 55th floor of the Empire Tower in Bangkok offers a truly elevated coffee experience. The panoramic views of the city from this high-altitude coffee shop are simply breathtaking. Surrounded by towering urban structures, it provides a unique perspective that adds to the charm of the venue. The interior design is modern and sleek, complementing the stunning backdrop of the cityscape. The ambiance is both sophisticated and cozy, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The large windows allow ample natural light during the day, creating a cool atmosphere. The coffee itself is of exceptional quality, living up to the Arabica Coffee standard. One of the standout features is the location itself. Being on the 55th floor provides a sense of exclusivity and a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city below. It's an ideal setting for both locals and tourist visitors seeking a memorable coffee experience in an extraordinary setting. The overall experience makes it a worthwhile splurge. Arabica Coffee on the 55th floor of the Empire Tower is a must-visit for those who appreciate not only exceptional coffee but also a breathtaking view that truly elevates the coffee-drinking experience.

We came to Arabica in the Empire Tower for one thing above all is the view. Perched way up on the 55th floor, the floor-to-ceiling windows wrap around, offering a genuinely stunning panorama of the mahanakhon tower snaking through Bangkok. It’s peaceful, modern, and feels a world away from the street-level chaos. The vibe inside is pure Arabica: clean, white and minimalist, almost stark Japanese design. Think lots of white, concrete, wood accents, and that signature % logo. It’s quiet, calm, and feels very much like a place for focused work, a quiet chat, or just zoning out with the view. The staff were efficient and polite, typical of the chain's standard, though not overly warm – it felt transactional, which fits the aesthetic. Now, the coffee. It’s Arabica %, so you know you're getting good, consistent, specialty coffee. My usual Latte was smooth, well-balanced, and exactly what I expected. No surprises, no disappointments. It’s reliably solid. They have the usual range of espresso-based drinks, pour-overs (if you have time), and a small selection of pastries that looked decent but unremarkable.

A Coffee Break Above the Clouds at %Arabica, Empire Tower Bangkok

I recently visited %Arabica on the 55th floor of the Empire Tower in Bangkok, and it was an experience that beautifully combined world-class coffee with awe-inspiring city views.

The café’s sleek, minimalist design paired perfectly with the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Bangkok’s skyline. It’s a rare treat to sip coffee while gazing out at the sweeping view of Lumphini Park and the bustling city below—serene and vibrant all at once.

I ordered a cold brew, which was refreshingly smooth, with just the right balance of boldness and clarity. On a warm Bangkok afternoon, it was the perfect drink—invigorating and perfectly chilled. The quality of the coffee lived up to %Arabica’s reputation, and the care with which it was served reflected the staff's attention to detail.

Getting there was easy, just a short walk from BTS Chong Nonsi, and the elevator ride to the 55th floor added a sense of excitement. The atmosphere, the coffee, and the view all came together for a truly memorable experience.

If you're in Bangkok and looking for an elevated coffee moment—literally and figuratively—%Arabica at Empire Tower is absolutely...
