One of exclusive landmarks of Bangkok! Nestled in the heart of Bangkok’s bustling financial district, the Chong Nonsi Skywalk stands as a striking symbol of the city’s rapid modernisation. With its sweeping white arches and tensioned steel cables, the structure mimics the elegance of a suspension bridge, offering both form and function. Beneath this futuristic canopy, pedestrians flow between towering skyscrapers and a world of commerce, style, and innovation. Surrounding the skywalk are some of the capital’s most iconic buildings—King Power Mahanakhon, with its distinctive pixelated design, rises boldly into the skyline, while the sleek facades of Empire Tower and Sathorn Square reflect Bangkok’s status as a regional business powerhouse.

The skywalk connects directly to Chong Nonsi BTS Station on the Silom Line, providing easy access for thousands of commuters each day. It also links to the BRT system, making it a central node in Bangkok’s transport network. Beyond its practicality, the area pulses with life—business professionals stride by in sharp suits, street performers entertain, and tourists pause to capture the dramatic urban scenery.

Chong Nonsi has become more than just a pedestrian bridge—it’s a stage where the city’s modern spirit plays out daily. With cafés, high-end hotels like W Bangkok, and local eateries within walking distance, the atmosphere here blends metropolitan sophistication with Thai charm. As day turns to night, the glass-clad buildings shimmer under neon light, and the Skywalk transforms into a luminous passageway—welcoming, vibrant, and...

The junction of Chong Nonsi on Sathorn road has a respectable number of high rise buildings housing tens of thousands of employees causing the morning and evening incredible Rush hour. The development in this particular area of CBD exploded in 2009 adding hotels and residential buildings to the mix. The walkway is extremely helpful taking you directly to the overpass/bridge crossing sathorn road to the opposite side & Narathiwat rd....
