I went to Decky's twice in one week: 1) on a Tuesday evening with a party of 4 when there were very few other patron. My ribs were cold to the bone and had to be sent back. My friend's fruit juice had gone bad. The service was very slow. The second visit was on the Friday May 9th to celebrate a transaction closing so it was a big deal to our party of 7. At first they wanted to seat us on a sofa set that could only hold 5. We insisted and they moved us to the larger sofa seating where we were more comfortable. We had not planned on going to Decky's to celebrate but I had a craving for their sweet potato fries dipped in a green peppery sauce that is excellent. Since it was a celebration we had a bottle of Moet Champagne. We asked if we ate there would we be allowed to open the champagne and pay a corking charge which we were willing to pay. We were told no, but even if we were allowed it would be TT$250 corking charge. Ridiculous!!! That helped us decide to order take away. While we waited on our food we ordered drinks. This is where service and time went to hell in a hand bssket in the following ways: Instead of 1 order of a chicken sandwich they brought 2 orders (that is an additional TT$85 added to the bill). The person rated the chicken sandwich 5 out of 10. The lamb burgers were served only with the green "peppery" sauce which one person though was a mayo and shadow beni mixture, poured the entire container on her burger, bit in, and started screaming for water. There was no water on the table though we had been there for 45 minutes and had repeatedly asked for water. We also had not received our drinks. The green peppery sauce spoiled that lamb burger for that 1 person. The other person said that the lamb burger was tasty but they just wished ketchup, bbq and garlic sauces were provided with takeaway orders. Rated 8/10. The 2 ribs orders were also disappointed to not get ketchup, bbq and garlic sauces in their take away bags. I did not think to ask for or check before leaving because those sauces were generously provided to us when we dined in on the Tuesday. The person who ordered the beef burger asked for it medium rare and got it well done....and without sauces - wad not happy with the TT$85+ meal. Rated 4/10 Our food came after 1 1/2 hours of waiting and we still had not received our drinks. The beef burger, chicken sandwich and lamb burger people were so starved that they began eating from their takeaway bags. As we walked to the front to leave, there came the waiter with our drinks so we had to stand at the front of the outdoor seating area trying to finish out our drinks while I waited for the check. The check was $911 and as I calculating the 20% tip I decided to give our waiter feedback that I was not pleased with the service and the comments I had received about the beef burger, the lamb burger and the chicken sandwich. He started to argue with me: "whats bad about the service?" "He bring everything as fast as he could." So I said, "I am drinking my drink here standing up in the front. Look everybody drinking standing up. I paying TT$911 for a celebration and all I hearing is complaints from my party." He continued arguing with me. So I say "I have a right to say what I thought was wrong but I not going to pay TT$911 to be abused." That is when I decided no tip but I always willingly give a 20% tip. Then i asked to speak to a manager. His supervisor came over. As I started to speak he stood behind her back arguing and contradicting my statements and my friends' statements as they piped in. His supervisor had to ask him to leave us alone to talk. I did not get her name but she was very understanding and called over Ray, one of the owners. Ray listened, took my number and promised to call. He did not. A week later I was at 1 WP and saw Ray. I reminded him that he promised to call. That was 2 weeks ago and Ray never called. Except for the sweet potato fries at a ridiculous price, the green peppery sauce, and the understanding supervisor, Decky's is an overpriced...

Menu items are extremely generic bar food dishes with an extra hefty price tag for absolutely no reason.
I do not like to leave negative reviews, but this "bistro" establishment has given my friends and I absolutely zero reason to come back.
I wouldn't even expect this level of service and quality from a street food vendor stall.

Read moreI’m a cocktail lover and these were some of the worst cocktails I’ve ever had- “fresh watermelon” but tasted like melon liqueur and the pineapple cocktail was overpowering with Angostura bitters. I couldn’t taste anything but.
The service was also very slow, where we received drinks about 40mins post order, and it was just 2 of us.
It was my birthday and I was so disappointed. We paid and left without finishing any...
