This is a destination restaurant if you find yourself in Tunisia. Owner Sabhe will only serve seafood caught on the day you visit (he gives any leftovers to his team to take home to their families at the end of each day). Sabhe’s other passions include painting, restoring old Tunisian doors and antiques. You never get to walk in a straight line here and I suspect the restaurant will look a little different when you visit - it is Sabhe’s constantly evolving gallery for his art and antique pieces. Allow yourself more time when you come just to meander the nooks and crannies of this open air Aladdin’s cave. (Come at night and the restaurant is bathed in the glow of hundreds of lamps hanging from and across trees.) The food takes a little longer to serve as Aisha the cook prepares everything from scratch when you order… right down to drinks and juices. This is the only place in Tunisia (I visited for 10 days) where I could get mint tea sans sugar because each cup is freshly made. (I found the mint tea renditions in most restaurants diabetes-inducing sweet as they are pre-made in large sugary batches and dispensed when an order...

Prices are high. I would allow it if the service quality is good. But unfortunately, the service is horrible, I have just witnessed the waiter yell at customers because they criticized the service. I came in with my family, some bought food, some bought coffee and others got tea. The food came in so late and the staff looks disorganized. The food was horrible with weird after taste. The coffee was in the smalled cup known to men, and we ordered tea with nuts , we got tea without any nuts in it. Then (after 20mins) they just brought us a plate of nuts that is dripping in water ... One word describes this experience: disappointing. I don't...

We've been here for the first time. The ambience is nice at first. But when you look close, you'll find cat po on the one or another seat. A lot of the seats are dirty. The Food was good but it took too long to deliver. Not many guests so it could & should be faster than 40 mins. The Music choices where miserable. Julio Iglesias on repeat.

The most beautiful cafe in all hammamet. We initially went just for drinks, but my boyfriend was hungry and he was offered a fresh fish from Sabi who i think is the owner. The food was delicious, so was were the drinks and we also had shisha. Absolutely stunning
