we had a very bad first encouter with an ober which made us leave right away. me, my sister, mom and aunt sat down to have a drink, the ober came and the first thing he said with an attitude was ‘we don’t serve tea, coffee and we only sell alcohol’ which made us feel right away that we are not welcome and he think of us as people that can’t have a alcoholic drink even tho we are with our aunt that wears a hijab, but we did wanted to have a wine.

So I asked him, can we have a menu then, maybe we would like to have a dessert, where he replyd again with ‘we don’t have any ice cream or dessert only tiramisu (which has alcohol).

We have been traveling the world and have been meeting different people from all over the world from poor to rich, and the way this over made us feel gave us a feeling that he didn’t want us there. Usually you say hi, give the menu and if someone orders a coffee or tea you can tell them that you don’t have it. In this case this ober had a bias about us, and even tho you have that you can NEVER act in this way, you always need to come with an polite attitude.

This never happened to us in any place in the world, so we wanted to adress it to the manager, and from here it gets interesting. My sister and I walk in to talk to the manager and explain the story, the manager was polite and listened to us and understood the situation. But when we walked back the ober all of a sudden brought my mom and aunt ice cream which he said he didn’t have in the first place plus a non alcoholic cocktail which he ALSO said he didn’t had it because they only serve alcohol. It just shows the fact that he basically didn’t wanted us there and thought he could get rid of us with an attitude and a fake story ‘we only serve alcohol and don’t have tea or coffee’ explains perfect how he doesn’t know how to treat anyone the same way.

Treat people all the same and be careful when you don’t because if this was a man and you treated his family like this, it would have been a whole...

Very horrible experience. Took the family, 12 person, to have dinner here. We sit, order some drinks, it took 30 minutes to bring a beer, are they fermenting the yeast? Maybe… Waiters take half of our orders than disappear for 1 hour, we have to ask multiple Time for the waiter to come take the rest of our orders, seems like the guy taking orders is cooking inside as well!! Food came out 90 minutes after, it was very bad, chicken a lorange sauce had no orange sauce lol, couscous was wet and full of sauce and no flavor, Ejja was not tasty at all. Cordon bleu was cardboard bleu, it’s just unbelievably disgusting to serve such food and charge 60TND ++ per plate. It doesn’t matter how much you are going to spend. You’ll be treated poorly. Hopefully they can use the unhonest money they’re making to hire better chefs and...

I ordered fish filet and it came late, cold and the filet was full of bones. I asked to take it back to the chef and inform him and never heard back from the waiter. The waiter was overwhelmed and kept telling us that because they have other table with a group of 30 they couldn’t handle all other tables. The music was loud from the live singer inside and didn’t understand why they needed to have speakers at the terrace making it impossible to discuss. We asked they reduced the sound and it was totally ignored. The food is overpriced for what it is…it’s sad as the place is nicely decorated, in nice marina area and could have much more potential.
