Art Café — Restaurant in Tunis

Beautiful view. What I didn't appreciate, was the attemp at blatantly ripping me off. The prices of the drinks are listed on a menu on 2nd floor. I had Mint Tea & a cappuccino. Should've been about 3.5€.

Went downstairs to pay, I asked the man "how much?" He said 10€!!! I said no sir, and mentioned the price list upstairs. He seemed a little peeved, so we went upstairs & I showed him. He slouched downstairs & I paid another man the 3.5€. The staff was no rude as I left.

I understand there's a 'tourist tax' in alot of places--but I dont appreciate businesses who...

Not many drink options. Views are nice but better for the night time. What drinks we had (coffee, tea) were very good. There are a lot of areas to sit inside that are quite and more like nook's but not great for ocean views. I could see a different person easily giving this a 4 or 5 star review, it just depends on what your looking for. Ocean view 3 stars, quiet peaceful inside 5...

Quite nice views, but comes without menu. So the owner can ask for any price à son goût. I was told the Lemon Juice (Citronade) would cost 7 TND, which is rather expensive since you can get it for 3 TND just a few steps down the road. If it would come with pleasant service, which it did not, and if they would have exact change, which they did not either, I would have given...
