Urumchi Uyghur Restaurant — Restaurant in Çankaya

Holy moly you MUST go to this place.

We tried to taste everything we could, went there with 2 friends. When we were finished with all the food we could barely walk to my car.

My favourite and the one dish you MUST try is the makarna kavurmasi, it is so so so hecking good.

As starters we had: Pitir manti, which is your average cow meat dumpling but with tail fat. Su mantisi, is classic Turkish minced meat manti, but i didn't like the sauce it came with, i don't like vinegar. Gosnan, again minced meat in like a top covered pizza.

As mains: Makarna Kavusrmasi, just try lt. So goood. I do not need to say more. Etli sebzeli pilav, rice with vegetables and meat, one of my favourite. Kazan Kebap, only two main ingredients: onion and meat, I thought the onions were going to be hard to eat but No, you can easily finish the whole plate, we all really enjoyed it. I don't remember the name but a meal with meat and potatoes, everything was amazing.

Oh and they bring a big thermos with tea.

Don't get me wrong the meals are probably meant for 1 person each and you will be full when you finish it, we ate like animals.

Thank you to the chiefs and the waiters for the amazing food and the hospitality.

I will definitely be coming back...

Halal food for sure. İt's a nice restaurants, neat and tidy, they serve menu that familiar taste for asian.

Many Uygur and asian are dine in here.

Outdoor dining and non smoking dining available. Clean toilet. Friendly waiter overall should be good experience.

They changes the menu price from time to time and it's quite expensive but not the portion. Usually they serve big portion of menu, .no condiment food whatsoever. İf u not a big eater watch out usually one dishes can cater for 2 people. Try their dumplings they are tasty compare to other similar restaurant.

But the downside u wait too much for your food. Time for waiting up to 20-30min more depend which item u pick. Make it worse they don't even tell u, that ur food will be "kinda late" so if u are hungry and need food that serve in manner of time this is not the place.

But if u like to have Asian taste cook and serve like Chinese cuisine and it's halal come here and try one.

With inflation going on in Türkiye everytime price changes so never know always surprise when come here not even 3 month price changes but the food taste and quality remaining the same

The food was great as always. However, I went there with my family on 23 June recently, one of the Turkish waiters was very rude. I had to wait quite awhile for all the food that I ordered to come, but all of them were not sent to the table at the same time. So I asked for the meat and vegetable that I ordered is it going to come later in their language the waiter answered me rudely. What meat? I also have one meat. (referring to his "meat" there). It really upsets me to be humiliated like that in a restaurant in front of my guest and family who came to visit for the first time in Ankara. I have been to a lot of restaurants in Turkey in the past 3 years but never have I met this kind...
