For this foodie & her ever-hungry man, Aila was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had anywhere in the world. First of all, the decor and spaces are exquisite. Soaring ceilings, marble floors, perfect lighting, every detail is beautiful. The food is sublime with elevated, modern Mediterranean flavors. In addition to the complimentary amuse bouche and bread with olive oil, we had: the raw green salad, grilled octopus with handmade couscous, the signature starter Nazuktan (saffron, dried rose, eggplant, urfa pomegranate syrup, and Antakya salted yogurt), starters of grouper and lamb tenderloin. Everything was perfect! The place is beautifully decorated, the lightning very cosy, and the lounge music on point. The service was great and fast. Food was amazing, i can easily say it’s one of the best places where I have eaten in Istanbul. we ordered more than usual thinking it was « fine dining » portions but they were very generous. We couldn’t finish our cold&hot starters. We could taste the quality of the ingredients which is very hard to find in Istanbul in my opinion. And every meal was fabulous, our palates were more than satisfied.

We had a small misunderstanding concerning a request i made with my reservation and when I told them about it, i saw how sorry they were and even offered tea/coffee and an additionnal dessert, which was very touching.

Aila is a different take on meyhane, and actually a pretty good concept. The food here is exquisite, and the spice collection is beyond. Service is simply perfect. Decor and atmosphere is gorgeous. The reason of 4 stars is the music. When we were there, started very nice but then became unbearable, technical (dj set had an issue) and genre wise. We had to ask the management to simply stop. If you come to Aila, take a taxi. Entrance is back of Quasar and problematic. Vallet service is the worst (well, i parked my own car, and had to walk around to find the guy) and parking is...
