Delicious as always. Came here a second night in a row. Initially wanted to try another restaurant but was put off by the menu and the pricing. Not so here. You actually get a good deal here in addition to the best steak in Antalya, since the price (in Turkish lira) has increased less than the food cost, believe it or not. I had a feeling it "increased" less than elsewhere and it came up and was confirmed in a conversation with Metin, whom I have known for years. But enough talking about money, this place is about great beef tenderloin and Metin's passion about preparing it perfectly. The cuts are seared on cast iron to get a nice branding and then pan fried and basted to perfect the crust and reach the desired temperature. Served with oven potato and vegetables and three sauces if you order the chef steak, or just one sauce if you order another kind of steak. If you want mash potato, you have to order the plank steak. This is beautifully presented mash potato all around the edge of the plate, lightly colored in the oven before the steak is added. The steaks are served on piping hot cast iron plates sitting on a larger wooden plate with the side dishes. This is done on purpose to allow for the steaks to reach their final temperature once they are set on the table. The sauces are fantastic. The mushroom sauce has tiny pieces of mushroom duxelle in a rich cream sauce, the pepper sauce is made with Turkish black pepper that will surprise you with its relative strength and intense aroma and the bearnaise is so rich and creamy, too, it's really difficult to decide which one I like best. My favorite seems to change weekly. Let me add that in addition to the steaks, you will probably also receive a free mixed salad and some very soft acma bread and a crispy börek. The restaurant has a chill ambiance with relaxing music. Just like how a steakhouse should be. My mom was hesitant to try the lamb chops. The owner assured her with honesty about the quality of the lamb chops. We usually eat Texelaar lamb chops. We chose the Parissiene steak, Peppersteak and Lamb chops. 3 mocktails. I had the best pina colada in alanya, finally. I could come back just for the drinks as well. Oh and the strawberry Daquiri. Fresh real strawberries. Moving on the meat. We ordered them medium. All of them came with a sizzling hot stone plate. We got our meat medium rare, but the stone kept cooking it and keeping it hot, which was just fantastic. This was perfect with the sauces on the side as well. The steaks didnt smell at all. It was juicy, fatty and tender. The peppersteak sauce had the perfect balance of blackpepper and richness. The lamb chops were extremely juicy and tender. It had the nice fat on the side. The meat feel right off the bone with no waste. Oh and the salad we got was amazing. Don’t get fooled by the location in a small quiet alley, away from traffic and noice from all the pedestrians!
The staff is polite, and the service is very authentic!
Me and my girlfriend finally got what we had been looking for- a nice red and juicy steak, cooked to perfection!
I highly recommend this restaurant to who ever is reading this!!
The owner cooks the food himself, and you can tell he does it with passion. I had a quick talk with him (the owner), and you can tell straight away that he loves what he is doing, and want his restaurant to be a good experience for his costumers.
The food price is very reasonable compared to what you get. It’s simple but very good!
